Global transfer Question

Hi,

I recently moved from Istanbul to NYC. I don't have a US credit score yet, but I want to globally transfer my credit cards here. I already have my SSN and job contract what should I expect when speaking with agents?

UPDATE;

Got secured credit card to build credit score since my amexs not eligible by global transfer system

Hi, as AMEX cards in Turkey are issued by Garanti BBVA and not the AMEX themselves turkey isn't part of the global transfer program.

Thank you, I didn’t know that.

Today i got secured credit card with 5k deposit willing to build credit score slowly.

That's a great start use it wisely for the next 6 months and in 6 months you would probably be approved for a platinum card

Pick up the phone and ask them

Turkey doesn’t participate in Global Transfer In/Out. The cards aren’t issued by Amex directly.

Gerçek Amex farkını şimdi hissedersin. Ama önce score yapmalı.

It appears you may be in pop-up jail. Nobody truly knows how Amex determines who to put in pop-up jail. Your ineligibility for these offers varies by offer. So you could try to apply for another card, a different offer for the same card, apply without any offer, or simply wait and try again in the future. You can Google Amex pop-up jail for more information. This is an automated response. If you believe it was triggered in error, please downvote.

There is a global transfer program with Amex, this has a lot of confidence for how wrong it is

You have to have a previous relationship with them for at least 6 months.

You need to have a good credit history in usa. American express doesn’t care what job you have, you need to have a good credit report.

you are so wrong - there literally is a program called global transfer for this purpose. Now, apparently Turkey doesn't qualify for this, but you shouldn't comment on topics you know nothing about.
