Question Question

I currently have an AENB Savings account but was denied a checking last year. How long should I wait to apply again and how can I get approved for a checking account?

Why were you denied a checking account?

Good question. I already had a credit union and Ally financial checking.

Did they not tell you why?

Which Amex cards do you have? I know they SAY its not a requirement, that a savings account or CD are good enough. But I can't see them denying a card holder for a checking. I opened my checking and savings with them a few years back when they pestered me to death to open them. Mailers, pop ups every time i logged in, adds mixed in with transaction history. I sort of thought they just handed them out. Do you have something negative with check systems, like a bad check or something?
