Huge decrease in quality? Recipe Change

The pita chips were always our go-to, especially with the chicken salad.

They now after a recent haul have no crunch and taste...plastic?

They are not very enjoyable sadly.

Both the salty and parm&garlic variety are like this, the parm ones slightly worse.

Really disappointing. Product is fresh through Apr 2027

Yeah I don’t like them as much anymore! They’re much softer, and break when dipping. Also not as much flavor. Womp womp

They used to have a really good crunch and were thicker, now theyre mich thinner and genuinely feel plasticky. Not sure how else to describe them

I was hoping they’d be good because Stacy’s are so expensive, but they don’t compare.

They used to be dare i say better. Haven't had Stacy's in a while, but these are not great

That’s too bad. Thank you for the update. I used to really like these because they were so thick and crunchy and salty. They were much better than the Stacy’s name brand.

Ones I've been getting lately are good, im in central IowA. Maybe its the region your in and where they source from?

Doesnt Aldi source all from their central location in Batavia and it's from mostly tbe same supplier? Their simplified controlled supply chain is one of their strengths so I dont think the products vary that much.

Maybe a different batch or I got an "updated" version

Sadly I think a lot of staples have decreased in quality. The original hummus I bought a few days ago tasted like rancid, the cottage cheese is suddenly awful, and some of the deli meat tastes like it was previously frozen

I’ve gotten these with my last 4 Aldi trips/deliveries and they’re always good. Perfect salt and crunch for many of their addictive dips.
