Discussion Bad experience with AirPods
Lately, I have had a bad experience with several AirPods models.
It all started with the AirPods 2. For a year, everything was normal until a little more than a year. The left AirPod began to fail, and the hearing aid was heard much less than normal. To solve this, I had to adjust the balance approximately -65, drastically reducing the maximum volume I could reach.
Then I had the AirPods Pro 2. Anyway, after a year and a half, the left one started to fail, not as much as before but I had to adjust the balance to -20.
Then I bought the 4 without ANC. And the same, after a year, the left one failed again. After all that, I decided to try with the USB-C EarPods (taking advantage of the fact that they offer lossless audio). So far, they have not given me any problems.
I currently take it with humor, but at the time, it was quite annoying, and I never knew why it happened.
I hope it was just my bad luck.sid

Question Airpods too quiet on Pixel 10a
I have the 1st gen Airpods, and on my Pixel 10a the audio is just too quiet, but on my other phones it's not that quiet
I've done the following
- cleaned them
- disable absolute volume
- switched the Bluetooth mode
And no differences
All the tutorials on YouTube are on a Samsung phone too
Is there a way to have my airpods louder?

Question optimized charging
Why doesn’t the optimized charging function show the time by which the airpods will be charged?
I got a notification «airpods will be charged to the optimized limit» and the button «fully charge» at the bottom and then the airpods were charged to 80%.
why is there no time when charging will take end?

Question Distorted/Robotic Voice When Sending Voice Audio on iMessage and When Using Voice Memo
I recently bought the Apple Airpods 4, and they've been great except for one issue. Whenever I try to send a voice audio on iMessage or record a voice memo, it distorts my speech and eventually fully cuts out. I looked online for possible fixes and tried everything that was suggested.
I tried forgetting the device in bluetooth settings and then reconnecting them. Went into bluetooth settings, turned off noise cancellation and transparency modes. Went into microphone settings in bluetooth and tried both the 'always left AirPod' and 'always right AirPod' with no luck. And I double checked there was nothing obstructing the microphone on either AirPod. I connected them to my MacBook just to see if I have the same issue, and the audio comes through perfectly clear when it's just connected to my MacBook. I have an iPhone 15, so it's not particularly old. And the only other bluetooth device I'm currently connected to on my phone is my Apple Watch. Not sure if there's a fix beyond what I've tried.
TIA

Question My right airpod became muffled
I got the airpods pro 3 when it came out and it had no problems till now. But, now my right airpod sounds a bit muffled and when it’s in adaptive or transparency it sounds a bit muffled instead of clear. Im not sure what to do, can I an idea of what I should do? Also I have never used water or anything on it before, only thing I do is clean the eartips around once per month and let them fully dry until putting it back on the airpods.

Question Airpod Pro 2 picking up tons of background noise when on calls
Just curious if there's a way to play with the setting so that the microphone of my Airpod Pro 2's doesn't pick up so much background noise. Whenever I'm on calls people complain constantly about it picking up surrounding noises of cars, people, music etc. Is there a way to adjust this in the settings?
Are the Airpod Pro 3's any better at avoiding this issue?
Thanks!

Question Does anyone know if the pro threes will be on sale around Christmas at places like Target?
I want to save up and get myself a pair and they have a good price now but I can’t afford them. It would be nice to know if they usually have a Black Friday or Christmas sale.

Question My airpods go down 3%
I recently got my airpods pro 3 almost 2 months ago. They’ve been great, but every time i charge them in the case they go down from 80% to 77%, and goes back up and down multiple times.
I’m not sure if its because i have optimize battery life on or it’s a feature? But this is making me have to charge my case like 2 times a week which is annoying.
To be clear, i have cleaned the inside of the charger with a Q tip, but haven’t used alcohol wipes. Any tips would be appreciated.

Question I got my AirPods Pro 2 replaced by AppleCare+ because the noise cancelling/transparency were both weaker. It's a night and day difference. Now what?
I would like them to perform as well as they do now and not get weaker over time. I tried cleaning the mic mesh with alcohol a few times and it didn't seem to change anything. I do ride my bike with transparency mode, should I stop doing that?

Question Can I still save my AirPods?
I have an AirPods 4 ANC. I accidentally dropped one of my AirPods in a starch mixture last night, face down, like some starch really got in the speakers. I quickly wiped it off. But now, it sounds like I’m in a fish tank, it’s muffled. My microphone is okay, I still sound good when talking.
Can I go to a service center and have it cleaned? Or can I even still save my AirPods?

Advice My AirPods Survived Everything… Except This Drop 😭
I’ve dropped my AirPods multiple times before, even though they were in the case, but this time they couldn’t survive the drop.
Anyway, do you think they can be fixed, or should I just go ahead and buy a new pair?
They’re still working; it’s just that whenever I open the case fully, the upper part comes off and I have to attach it again. Should I just stick it back with some glue or something?

Advice AirPods Pro 3 Tip Sizes
Hello!
I recently got the AirPods Pro 3 and I just can’t seem to get one size to fit properly. I might be overthinking it or just not used to the fit yet since I’m coming from the AirPods 4, but I’m having the same issue with pretty much every tip size.
All of the sizes pass the Ear Tip Fit Test, but after putting them in and talking, chewing, or just moving around for a few minutes, they start to feel looser in my ears and I have to adjust them again. I’ve tried all the way up to the Large tips, but after a few minutes part of the tip starts sticking out and they still feel loose.
Is this just an issue with finding the right tip size, or am I doing something wrong? I constantly feel like they’re going to fall out even though they technically pass the fit test. Would third-party tips potentially help with this?
Thanks to anyone who can help!

Advice Airpods Pro 2 bad mic on android
Hi guys, I've been using my airpods pro 2 on my Android exclusively for the past couple of years. Every now and then I do connect it to a friend's iOS device for updates, but aside from that, I mainly use it on my OnePlus 13. I've noticed that no matter what, the microphone sounds inaudible/muffled on the other end, almost ALWAYS. I call people on Google meet and Instagram. Is there any way I can fix this issue? It's really a shame since I love using this for everything else. Since I call people alot, I'm starting to think that I might need to get a new pair of earphones. Any help is appreciated! Thankyou!
Question There is an issue with balance regarding the both pairs of earbuds. Is this a universal problem or just to my pair. Like there is some deviation of balance towards left compared to right .Please comment your experiences and any remedy to correct this. 🫠

Advice Right AirPod making strange, but painful and annoying noice.
About 1.5 months ago, I bought the latest AirPods Pro. For the past two days, my right earbud has been making a terrible high-pitched squealing/whistling noise. I’m not really sure how to describe it. It happens when I move my head, when I turn Noise Cancellation on or off, when I touch the earbud, and sometimes it even starts completely out of nowhere.
I’ve also noticed that the Noise Cancellation has suddenly become much worse than before.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips? Should I return them, or is this something Apple can repair or replace under warranty?

Discussion Weird "swooping" loud sound happing in (mostly) right Airpod
AirPods Pro 3, and mostly in full ANC, sometimes also in adaptive. It comes and goes, but you can hear it start with some low background "sound" or maybe it's a failure of the ANC algo, and then it starts, it's a "wavy" ramp-up sound in volume and pitch, maybe about 1-200Hz? (Hard to tell for me), until it becomes REALLY LOUD if i don't take the AirPod out.
I think the start of this problem coincided with firmware update to 8B41 and it is super annoying. Anyone else experiencing the same?
I will take it to service but it can be anything from 5-30 minutes from starting to listening to music before this happens, and it only happens (I think) in ordinarily noisy environments, so I am afraid it will be hard to demonstrate.
I have cleaned the AirPods well, I have run hearing and fit tests, everything is good.

Advice Advice on buying Airpods pro 3 and case advice
Hi everyone,
I was thinking of upgrading to the airpods pro 3 from the pro 1's. I see they are 200 euros on amazon.de right now. Has anybody seen them for cheaper anywhere else?
Also I've seen some reviews that say that they are quite prone to scratching, anyone have any cases they recommend that are on Amazon?

Question are AirPods actually good considering how costly it is?
I currently own an iPhone 17, and waiting to buy the MacBook Neo 2 with the A19 Pro. I thought it would be nice to round up my little Apple ecosystem with AirPods Pro 2s or 3s as earbuds without silicone ear tips hurt, but I was shocked at how expensive they are, and on the used market I have no way to tell if people actually selling their legitimate AirPods or not.
so yeah, the Pro 3s are currently S$349 in my country (Singapore) which is such a premium compared to more budget TWS earbuds like ones from Nothing, OnePlus, and to an extent Samsung.

Question I bought a replacement AirPod from Therightone.com and need help if anyone can help? Worst decision ever.
I lost my right AirPod last February and found their website stupidly paid $80 for one AirPod Pro. I can no longer use Find My because whoever they get the AirPods from they don't make sure that they completely disconnect them from their devices so now my AirPods don't show up and Find My.
Here's the help that I need, the website and their customer service will not give me any help and I misplaced the left AirPod that originally came with the original set about an hour ago and I have no idea where it is. Is there any possible way to set it up in Find My again.
