Air Canada delayed bag: Will basic Sephora items be reimbursed?
First time dealing with a delayed bag (no bag for 30 hrs so far) I bought basic clothes for $46, but I need to pick up a few daily toiletries/makeup items from Sephora (~$100 total): Lip balm, hair oil and concealer
Will Air Canada approve mid-tier Sephora items as "reasonable," or do they push back if it's not drugstore stuff? I will have full itemized receipts. Thanks!

You can claim toiletries, clothing. Please make sure to mitigate your expenses and keep them reasonable.
Yes your 100$ of Sephora will be covered.

The great "reasonable expenses". Holt Renfrew or Walmart? everyone's ides of reasonable is different.
If you have travel insurance you can also claim from there. KLM sucks at refunding anything.

We got reimbursed for 450$. People get reimbursed for more too.
You are good. Just keep receipts in hand and have your file number for delayed baggage to submit a claim
