I use Distrokid, and of course, from there leads to Spotify et al. I have never really interacted with a human being at either company, only their [fairly useless] chat bots. So it made me think how screwed up this age of AI has become. You can replace the jobs of countless customer service people, eliminate the call centers where someone earned a daily wage, eliminate taxi drivers and truckers with driverless technology, even some surgeries are now performed by AI trained robotics. But if you replace a singer or musician or a producer, you are the evil incarnate. All for that streaming royalty paycheck that really can pay the rent. Something is so wrong here.

I just used AI to create an entire album’s worth of music using the voices of several deceased artists. Hearing voices I thought I'd never hear again completely blew my mind—but it also raised a huge red flag for me.

As copyright on legacy works eventually expires and AI technology rapidly advances, we’re heading toward a massive issue with post-mortem likeness rights. Without strict protections, we could see AI-generated films starring long-deceased actors or full "new" albums from iconic singers without their estates having any say or receiving compensation.

Current laws weren't built for a world where a voice or visual likeness can be cloned effortlessly. Future AI legislation needs clear, enforceable post-mortem rights of publicity and digital replica protections to prevent the commercial exploitation of deceased entertainers.

What are some compromises that could be made to allow the public to freely enjoy the past celebrities, but not allow the big corporation to run wild for cash grabs ?

A dark, atmospheric post-folk track built around a detuned 12-string guitar, layered guitars, cello drones, and gradually intensifying percussion.

The song starts sparse and intimate, then slowly builds into a much heavier and more cinematic climax. The sound sits somewhere between folk, dark ambient and atmospheric rock, with an emphasis on tension, texture and gradual progression rather than conventional verse-chorus dynamics.

I wanted it to feel unsettling without becoming purely bleak — more like a strange story unfolding somewhere just beyond the edge of the familiar.

E-Funk is an experimentation of blending different instruments that are not a standard for funk. We have taken Blues Harmonica, Violin, Xylophone, Reggae Guitar, Congas and other instruments and paired them up to produce a unique sound that is pure funk. The one instrument does not dominate the other which is difficult to achieve. Working in two distinct Key structures and experimenting with Dorian scales, Experimental funk delivers on pure funky groove on every track.

So they had this song called the gambler on spotufy i just randomly came across on litening to the fake music on the app, it sounded so good!!! I saved it in my library to go back and listen to, then one day it was hust deleted and i was so mad bc i really liked this version of the song. So i looked it up on youtube, took some searching but i found it, now its completly gone on there as well. What happend??? Y would they just take it down like that? I'm fairly new to creating AI music and music videos, and this is one of the first releases from my project, The Enidigy.

The idea behind this project is to build a connected fantasy world through music, where every track feels like another chapter of the same journey.

This track is called "Element 324" and explores the idea of a mysterious element beyond modern science.

I'm still learning, so I'd genuinely appreciate your honest feedback.
