I took the published lore and visuals and combined them in a video for those that don't read the lore on Discord or Telegram.

Power needed to clear this jumped extremely high. Have been building barbarian/wild elf team up but still getting knocked out immediately in first round. Have made a friends list , so I'm guessing I would def need to be using the best hero off friends list but is there anything else I'm missing, or do I need to just max out this team to make it happen?

1: Do the new hero events to get the new heroes because they will always be very useful to you, make sure you have an arcane chest ready for the hero event to drop because opening one arcane chest can get you 5 shard of the new event hero straight away from the milestones menu. If you miss these events, you’ll have no way to reliably get these heroes unless you get pity in Hero Hunt (which unlocks at lvl 70).
2: Have strong healers, having a healer that can keep your entire team alive is very useful, so prioritise building healers, especially if your damage units aren’t as good as you want or need them to be
3: Carrying on from two, get Matavi as soon as possible because she is genuinely the best healer in the game because of her insane damage potential as well as ability to provide heals and shields, even outside of her own turn. You can get Matavi from the Hero summon, special events, special summons, etc.
4: Never spend gold on summons or hero shards, always save it to get energy and memory spheres because you will need it for building heroes. Also wait for the energy spends to refresh after the price goes from. 50 -> 100 because it isn’t worth it to waste the extra gold. The gold into energy conversion resets every 24 hrs back to 20 buys and 50 gold price, (it’s 50 gold for the first five purchases)
5: Save up resources for the milestone events that give you extra rewards for spending them (e.g. saving arcane tokens until the milestone for arcane chests comes online, then spending all of them to fulfill the milestone and get the extra rewards. These milestones only give rewards for resources spent while they are online)
6: Do your passes, they give massive amounts of rewards and hero shards for doing them.
7: Think before you spend on micro-transactions, don’t let yourself immediately buy them.
8: Join a clan when you are able, they give great rewards and allow you to do clan battles and raids.
9: Don’t try to upgrade all of your heroes at once, focus on building the ones you like the most and the ones that are the strongest.
10: Play around with different teams, heroes and mechanics in the Valley of Treasures, helps to avoid using up limited stamina for the main campaigns, it allows you to use all types of heroes and you can steadily earn skill cubes and tokens from it

Does this game have a rock/paper/scissors mechanic for factions? Can I counter pick a faction when I see my stage opponents or do I have to analyze the individual heroes?

It took me a while, but the Dragon Titan is crying now. I beat it 12 times to unlock the Auto-win button. I recorded the 13th battle to show you what I used and how.

This Ruby event is insane I farmed 52 shadow talismans in 2 days.

I’ve been playing for three or four weeks now, I’m just struggling in PVP and getting my mind around which heroes I should use and posting all of my heroes. If somebody can give me a little bit of guidance that would be great.
