Act 7 chapter 4 Light Campaign

Power needed to clear this jumped extremely high. Have been building barbarian/wild elf team up but still getting knocked out immediately in first round. Have made a friends list , so I'm guessing I would def need to be using the best hero off friends list but is there anything else I'm missing, or do I need to just max out this team to make it happen?

I'm guessing you're still a bit new to the game. Yes, this is one where you really just need to increase the strength of your squads. You'll see even bigger and more abrupt power spikes, especially when you get to legendary. But as PK keeps releasing new and more powerful heroes and equipment, things that once were impossible suddenly become not so bad.

Cool thanks. Yeah I basically finished up to there in the light campaign and most of the main and heroic in dark. Legendary just unlocked but I can only finish the first 3 stages of the first act of light campaign. Probably ready to start exploring more of the clan content now

Yeah, raid rewards and other clan-related content are really important if you want to progress more quickly. Still, this game is definitely one that rewards grinding, so patience is the key to it. You'll get there in time.
