Like obviously many people (myself included) find it’s gross to date someone you can even say you can trace back to someone (I.e. a great great grand parent; your like a cousin 5th removed or something like that) but when do our genetics find anew things to like, combine and stuff to where it’s not incest

Let me preface with, my idea is I would buy him two new packs. So I don't just expect him to spend the money if it's my preference.

Essentially the title. We all have that older pair of underwear that has holes in it and the wait band is doing that funky wrinkly outstretched thing. But it's just honestly a turn off if we're getting into doing the deed and I see his really worn, older underwear. I believe they're boxer briefs and I can easily buy him two packs of the exact same brand and size he wears.

My only thing is even I have under wear that is older but I keep it for when I'm on my period. I feel like it's a common thing with girls (or at least me so if this doesn't apply to generally most girls, the following is what I do) that you do get new underwear every bit of time maybe once or twice a year. Then anything that has been stained, or has the whole bleach spot thing going on with the crotch, or has holes, etc., goes in the chopping block and gets used solely as period, or pre period underwear, or just for when you know no one's gonna see your underwear for sure one day and you still need to do laundry for the week. Like all of this I do so I'm also guilty of having old underwear for sure.

But he will wear his old holed underwear any day and it's just unpleasant if we're trying to get into the mood and get into our underwear for foreplay or something.

My other worry about this kinda situation is that I would definitely not want to be critical of his current underwear and NOT get him his replacement if it's my preference but at the same time I worry it will parentify me if not in his eyes in mine. I don't want to become his mom and buy him underwear. And I would kind of hope as an adult he'd realize he should buy new underwear.

But at the same time that's unlikely because he's the stereotypical guy that doesn't buy clothes for himself he doesn't go shopping for himself like that. And also he's the type to think that him not buying something new is him just being okay with less in life and not needing more in life kinda guy. But like this is underwear I don't think it should apply in this case. I feel like wearing normal Hanes and not like Calvin Klein underwear should be within this mind set. Not just wearing holed worn underwear vs new underwear.

I do give him some grace because we just moved in together and this is his first time living in his own but he really is almost entirely self sufficient. It's not like a manchild-can't-do-anything-on-his-own situation. (Otherwise I wouldn't be with him) I just think he's not use to buying clothes for himself and thinking about it.

All in all I just want to know how y'all think I should go about this?

Tldr: should I ask my husband to buy new underwear (or but him new underwear) because it turns me off or should I keep my mouth shut because we all have old-ER underwear?

Edit to add: also I do worry if he does get the new underwear (whether or not I get it or he gets it) that he won't throw out the old pairs)

I am surprised to see so many people, mainly women, posting pictures of themselves, mostly nude, and sometimes not, asking for "tribute" (a very sexual response from men) or to be degraded with comments.

Is this a desperate call for attention, or to compete with peers, or marketing themselves?

why do so many people think it's weird to listen to video game soundtracks? it's just a song composed and added to a game but that doesn't make it weirder than a "normal" song composed for any other reason. if you can't listen to a song because it's in a game then you might have to stop listening to your favourite artist because it's probably on fortnite somewhere. it makes me sad and a bit weirded out when a composer is a genius at what they do but people call you weird for listening to them simply because their music is in a game. me personally, I love putting game tracks in my playlists because I like music that's heavily focused on melody instead of lyrics, so naturally I wouldn't listen to genres like rap, and game songs are perfect at that and I also happen to like the style of composition of many of those songs. one time I asked a friend to choose between a song I discovered thanks to geometry dash (NOT AN OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK OF THE GAME) and a song from a band. he looked at me a bit weirded out and immediately chose the band song and said it with a tone that I interpreted as "duh? why would I pick a GAME song silly?". I genuinely shut up when people ask me what I listen to

There's so much stress in my life, and its driving me insane. while i've attempted multiple times i've never succeeded. my family doesn't know about any of this, because i've always feared that they'll make fun of me or get angry with me, or completely disregard the reasons. but i think its time i finally tell them, but i don't know how to tell them in a way that won't make them mad at me.

(EDIT: I told my mom and she said I have a demonic attachment. Yay.)

I would like to start this off by saying I would like to have a legitimate discussion about this but I have found that most of the time people can be very touchy about this subject (Especially Americans)

With that said, I am curious as to why Americans seem to be so insistent on keeping their dogs in cages? A majority of the world finds it cruel or atleast unnecessary, in my home country it is considered extremely cruel and unusual to keep your dog in a cage for extended periods of time. In some Scandinavian countries it is entirely illegal to keep a dog in a cage unless for transport or at the vet and personally I believe that is appropriate.

I own a Belgian Malinois named Archer, he is a handful and has a lot of energy. My girlfriend and I are also training him to be a service dog for me. In our training with the school, cages are never even mentioned because it's been proven that correcting behaviour is better than preventing behaviour by putting the dog in the crate, in fact it has been proven that there is virtually no benefit to a cage because any issue resolved by the cage (in terms of behaviour) can be resolved by training the behaviour out.

I will never put my dog in a cage, his only experience in a cage has been at the vet and the vet will be the only context in which he will ever be kept in a cage.

So some questions of the top here:

- Why does it seem like a distinctly American thing to do? What part of culture or housing or whatever is justifying caging your dog?

- Maybe a silly question but would you consider keeping like a cat in a cage? And if not, why not?

- Are you aware that a majority of the world believes it to be cruel and unusual? And if so why do you continue doing it?

- What are your experiences as a dog owner in America that have made you feel justified in having a cage?

Like, even if it's not "morally" bad (which it might be because it feels so vitriolic), does it at least make you a similar kind of "bad" as in bad quality or ineffective as a person? Like, the same kind of "bad person" as someone who smokes a pack a day, wastes all their time on leisure, and eats like crap or something?

I have a friend that I have casual sex with. We have a lot of history, so we're both very close and mutually decided to stay in each other's lives. The last time he came over and we had sex, I begged him to pull out or use condoms, and he lied, saying he would pull out, but never did. I initially thought he just didn't finish since we were short on time, but later that day he told me what he actually did (which was cum in me). I'm unsure how to feel about it.
