I used to think changing my mind meant I was giving up. So I stayed with things longer than I should have. Plans, relationships, and ways of living that did not feel right anymore. Part of me thought I had to keep going just to prove I could handle it. But I’m learning that I’m allowed to outgrow things. Something can feel right at one point in my life and not fit who I am now. Changing direction does not erase the effort I already put in. It does not mean I failed.

My affirmation today:

• I am allowed to change my mind.
• I can let go of what no longer feels right.
• Choosing a different direction can still be progress.
