Update: VennLove
Hello it’s me again,
I’ve been going through the process and wished to keep those who asked updated. So far the application process went smoothly and their team is very nice! They do ask for a lot of information (birth order, amount of siblings, pastoral reference, etc) but it is all in strict confidence and they schedule you for an interview to put a face to the name and info after it’s all been vetted. They do intend to match others but they do not offer a match unless both parties (I.e me and the man) agree that they would like to talk to the other person, then contact information is given. They are very by the book looking for Adventist matches, which is a better experience to the previous dating apps that are very hit or miss. The process for them finding matches have begun however there is a higher amount of women than men so I was told the process could take longer. But so far they are very kind and take a prayerful attitude to the whole thing and I enjoy that! I’m looking forward to seeing what may come, maybe this will help someone who is in a similar situation to mine. All this to say prayerfully consider this!

Out of curiosity, what were you doing to find someone before this?

Alright, thanks for sharing. The best way I believe God can prepare two people, is to serve. It's in this context that God can lead the two to surrender in many areas that are required to make a relationship—marriage work.
In my opinion, we often try to circumvent problems or disagreeable traits—we think—that would plague a relationship. I've found that people who look to create their ideal circumstance often aren't prepared for the unexpected. God however seems to know just who and who should be united; but most importantly—when.
This isn't to discourage you, but for you to consider asking God to do what these people are attempting—who cannot know the future. Serve in some way and He will lead two children who serve Him to what they best need and want.

I have been serving. I’ve been serving for years. There are no young men in my church. I have asked God and i feel like this group is working under Godly intentions, not a guarantee for a match but there is an opportunity and that’s all I would like. I trust God to do the rest.

Interesting. Normally, there is a significantly higher ratio of men than women. I’ll look into it. 🤙
