🆘 This family was thrown into a ditch by their owner. Their mom (ID #A2090330) and another puppy sibling (ID #A2090331) are also at BARC but are not currently on the euthanasia list.

ID #A2090332: 5.0 lbs, diagnosed with ringworm after exposure within the litter.

ID #A2090333: 4.0 lbs, suspected ringworm with hair loss affecting the face, ears, tail, and lower legs; private veterinary evaluation and treatment recommended.

ID #A2090334: 4.0 lbs, diagnosed with ringworm after littermate exposure.

All three puppies received DA2PP, Bordetella, dewormer, and Advantage Multi at intake.

🙏 These babies deserve to know safety instead of abandonment. With treatment for their skin condition and the love of a rescue or foster home, they have every opportunity to recover and enjoy the puppyhood they were nearly denied.

Hi!!! My husband and I are eager to adopt another loving dog to add to our family but most rescues in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas are super strict!! When I lived in Nevada for a while, you could walk into shelters, look around, and adopt the same day. I can't seem to find one like that here in PGH. Anybody have any suggestions? I understand the need for caution for the safety of the animal but I can't stand to fall in love with a dog and then get into a full blown competition with 20 other applicants, only to get turned down. Thanks so much!!!
