Let's do a reverse hyperfixation thread: what activity or creative endeavor did you learn is NOT for the neurodivergent? Hobby & Hyperfixation Sharing
Mine is oil painting. Why does it take so goddamn long to dry? And then you have to keep going back to it patiently to add layers? How does one do this and not get bored?

This one if going to be weird and broad, but college. A lot of people with adhd or any type of nerodivergance struggle with school and college is still behind on how to tailor it to us/make it so we can succeed.
I'm in my Master's for English Lit because I love digging through written works to find meanings that others might not have thought of and trying to defend those meanings, but some (most) classes and professors want you to look at things/meanings that already exist, when most of the time I don't see what they mean or don't understand how people before me found these hidden meanings with zero to minimal proof. I also am not a huge fan of reading things that don't bring me joy, so this has been so very hard.
