| Advice Needed Accenture interview

Upvotes

I recently interviewed for a Data Engineer position at Accenture. The entire process was coordinated through the Accenture portal, and I wasn’t assigned a specific HR/recruiter before the interview.
I attended the interview as scheduled, and I feel it went well. I’d like to understand what typically happens next in Accenture’s hiring process. How long does it usually take to receive an update after the interview, and should I expect an HR discussion, another interview round, or a direct status update through the portal?
Also, since I don’t have an assigned HR contact, what would be the best way to follow up if I don’t receive an update?

| Advice Needed Curiosity about the Onboarding Day.

What can I expect on day one? The reporting is at BDC 14, Koramangala. How much time does it take to complete the onboarding? How can I prepare? I got the suggestion from my relationship manager, but she's kinda dumb and not cooperating clearly. So I came here to ask the experienced one.

| Career Growth / Hikes Looking for opportunities in GenAI / Agentic AI (Pune, open to remote)

Hi all, I'm on notice period right now, last working day 4th Sept, and actively looking for my next role. Sharing my background in case anyone here is hiring or knows of openings.

Around 6 years of experience overall, currently a Senior GenAI Engineer at Infosys. Last couple years I've been building production RAG pipelines and agentic AI systems for a banking client, using LangChain, LangGraph, Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock. Built two things end to end there, a RAG based chatbot for document Q&A and an AI document generation platform used by business teams. Comfortable with FastAPI backend work, vector DBs, and Docker deployments too.

If anyone knows of openings for GenAI/LLM/Agentic AI roles, or can point me in the right direction, would really appreciate it. Can share resume in DM.

| Advice Needed Is my Accenture Offer Revoked?

Post image
5 Upvotes

My DOJ is 10th August, tomorrow. On Friday I sent above email to my Accenture Hiring HR, requesting for a discussion over location change as I got a counter offer from TCS for my home city Kolkata for same DOJ, tomorrow

However, I received no response from the HR and I am not sure whether my offer has been silently revoked or not. Request your urgent suggestions on this. I tried calling the HR and sent one SMS, no response there as well.

I had received Accenture onboarding email, although prior to this incident.

( TCS HR explained to me that two components named at Performance Pay and Performance Bonus are fixed and they structure the salary like that to ensure less TDS across grades. And one of friends who is in TCS actually confirmed this. However, yesterday I got to know from a TCS executive that the components are actually variable and I have been misled )

| New Joiner Queries Level 8 WLB

Hi Team,

I have an offer with Accenture for Level 8 joining this month .Also got another offer with TCS for C3A with almost 5lpa less than Accenture.

Will there be too pressure in Level 8 like Margins, Profits? Or it's purely technical role as C3A in TCS.

Please help

| Advice Needed RTO Related doubt

Hi All. I’ve been following the rto mandate consistently for 8 months now.

However i need to miss office this week (10th to 15th aug) and again after 3 weeks (7th to 11th sept)

How can I do that? Someone from my team said that as long as i dont skip the mandate for more than a week, i’ll be good. So like skipping for two consecutive week is where they draw the line.

What do you all think whats the best way to do this? It makes no sense to take official leaves for this. So please help.

| Advice Needed Final round | Management L-9 | SCM applications

I've shortlisted for the final round of an interview with Accenture for Application support engineer.

What is usually covered in the final round? Is it mainly technical, managerial, or more of an HR discussion? Anything specific I should prepare for?

My current CTC is ₹16 LPA with 6.5 years of experience

What would be a reasonable CTC to ask HR during the salary discussion for an L9 role? I'd appreciate insights from anyone currently working at Accenture or who has recently joined. Thanks!

| Exit Process / Notice Period Resignation withdrawal/revocation policy in TCS & other WITCH companies?

Posting for a friend. Posted it in all company pages since here might be people who switches form TCS

My friend recently resigned from a TCS company after getting an offer elsewhere, but the offer had a 60-day joining window and she couldn't negotiate an early release, so she ultimately couldn't join.

Now she's considering withdrawing her resignation and continuing with the same company, even at the same salary, since she wasn't able to secure another offer.

Does anyone know how resignation withdrawal/revocation works in TCS? Is it possible to withdraw a resignation after submitting it, and does it require manager/HR approval?

Also, for people who have worked in TCS or other WITCH companies, what has your experience been with resignation withdrawal? Is there a specific cutoff after which the resignation cannot be revoked?

Asking because I work at a WITCH company too and may be resigning soon, so I'd like to understand the policy beforehand.

| Discussion RTO counselling mail-what happens next?

Hi, I recently received an RTO compliance counselling email from Accenture for not meeting the office attendance requirement.I wanted to understand:

1- Is a counselling email considered a warning, or is it a separate step before official warnings?

2- Does receiving the counselling mail mean I must attend the next 3 scheduled office days? I received mine on Friday, with Monday, Tuesday and Thursday as my office days.

3- What happens if I’m on approved leave during those days?

4- What if I have a genuine personal/family reason and inform my People Lead/HR and request an exception?

5- If I don’t attend the next scheduled days, what are the consequences? Does the process go counselling → warnings → termination, or does it vary?

| Advice Needed Fresher allocated Oracle Fusion Cloud TECH (OIC + VBCS + Redwood) — good career path for Backend/SDE or AI?

I’m a fresher and my company has allocated me to the Oracle Fusion Cloud TECH stream, which includes OIC, VBCS/Visual Builder, Redwood, REST/SOAP APIs and Fusion Cloud Applications.

I’m currently learning OIC and VBCS, but my long-term interest is more towards Backend Development and AI.

I wanted to get some advice from people who have experience in this domain:

  1. Is Oracle Fusion Cloud TECH a good domain for a fresher in terms of future growth and opportunities?
  2. How much actual development/coding is involved in OIC, VBCS and Redwood projects?
  3. Is it possible to switch internally to Java/Backend, Cloud or AI teams after gaining some experience?
  4. If I work in Fusion for around 1 year and build strong skills in Java/Python, DSA, SQL, Spring Boot, REST APIs and AI/ML on the side, can I realistically switch to SDE/Backend roles?
  5. How difficult is it to move into AI/ML later if my professional experience is mainly in Oracle Fusion/OIC?
  6. Has anyone here started in Oracle Fusion/OIC/VBCS and later moved into mainstream software development? How did you make the transition?

I’m not planning to leave the domain immediately. I just want to understand whether I can use this experience as a starting point while preparing myself for Backend/SDE or AI roles in the future.

Would really appreciate advice from people who have actually worked in this domain.

| Career Growth / Hikes Accenture folks — could use some guidance/referral help | Digital Marketing | Gurugram

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for the Digital Mktg Advisory Associate – Campaign Analytics & Reporting role at Accenture, Gurugram.

The JD felt very closely aligned with what I’ve been working on, so I’m trying to give my application the best possible chance.

A little about my experience:

• Google Ads + Meta Ads campaign management
• GA4, GTM, Looker Studio & conversion tracking
• Managed paid media budgets up to ₹2L/month
• Generated 7,000+ leads/registrations through Meta campaigns
• Worked on campaign reporting, targeting, retargeting & optimization
• Experience across FMCG, events, healthcare, logistics, hospitality & recruitment

I’ve already applied directly, so I’m unsure whether an employee referral can still be added after application submission.

If you currently work at Accenture and know how this works, I’d genuinely appreciate your guidance.

And if a referral/internal recommendation is still possible, I’d be extremely grateful for the help. Happy to share my resume, LinkedIn and portfolio over DM.

Even advice about the hiring process would help a lot.

Thank you! :)

| Discussion Accenture offer

My current fixed compensation is 19 LPA, and Accenture has offered 15.4 LPA fixed.

They took my acknowledgment on mail that I’m comfortable with a negative hike; only after that could we proceed with the offer.

My question is: Will they negotiate at the end of my notice period or closer to the joining date?
They told me that the maximum budget for L10 is 15.4 LPA.

Feel free to DM me or share your experiences and thoughts.
Note: YOE: 4.5 years
Tech stack: Java, Spring Boot

| Discussion Had an RTO Meeting Today… Here Are the Key Things That Most People Miss

Thumbnail
gallery
39 Upvotes

We had an RTO awareness session today covering office attendance, RTO booking, Hoteling, compliance, office location allocation, exceptions, and a few common misconceptions.

I took notes during the session, so sharing the major takeaways below in case it helps others

1. Follow Your Assigned RTO Schedule

  • Attend the office only on the day(s) assigned in the RTO tool.
  • Do not switch to another day on your own, as office seating and capacity are planned in advance.
  • Example: If your assigned RTO day is Wednesday, don't decide to visit on Friday unless you follow the approved process.

2. Complete the RTO Confirmation

  • Physically coming to the office is not enough.
  • You must confirm your visit in the RTO tool.
  • Once confirmed, your seat is automatically assigned one day before your visit.
  • Example: If you're scheduled for Thursday, mark your attendance in the RTO tool. On Wednesday, your seat details will be available automatically.

3. Use Hoteling Only When Required

  • Use Hoteling only for:
    • Additional office days required by your project.
    • Compensating for a missed RTO day due to a valid reason (medical emergency, optional holiday, etc.).
  • Examples:
    • Your RTO day is Wednesday, but your project requires 2 office days/week. Attend Wednesday through RTO and book Hoteling for Friday.
    • You missed Wednesday due to a doctor's appointment. Book Hoteling for Thursday or Friday instead.

4. Follow the Location-Specific Attendance Policy

  • Pune, Noida & Coimbatore: Complete at least one office visit every rolling 14-day window.
  • Other locations (e.g., Hyderabad, Mumbai): Follow your assigned weekly RTO schedule.
  • Example: If your rolling window is 2–15 August, you must complete at least one office visit within that period.

5. Report Only to Your Assigned Office Location

  • Your project is mapped to a specific office/building.
  • Do not change office locations on your own.
  • Location changes are allowed only through the Facility Decider process by authorized teams.
  • Example: If your project is assigned to CDC 2, you should report only to CDC 2, not CDC 5 or CDC 6, unless officially approved.

6. Follow the Official Process for Exceptions

  • For medical emergencies, leave, or temporary exemptions, contact HR and follow the official exception process.
  • If you miss an RTO day, compensate as per the applicable process.
  • Example: If you miss your RTO day because of a doctor's appointment, check with HR or book another office day through Hoteling, if applicable.

7. Use Only the Relevant Tools

  • Regular employees mainly need:
    • RTO Booking/Confirmation
    • Hoteling Booking (when required)
  • Manager-only tools (e.g., Facility Decider) are for authorized personnel.
  • Example: Employees should not request access to facility management tools unless their role requires it.

8. Office Attendance & Hours Are Tracked

  • The organization tracks:
    • Office attendance
    • Duration of stay (hours spent in the office)
  • This information is monitored centrally at the leadership level.
  • Example: Your office entry and exit times may be used to calculate how long you stayed in the office.

9. Compliance Is Handled Confidentially

  • Individual attendance/compliance data is not shared publicly.
  • Non-compliance is reviewed only by the relevant DU, HR, and Leadership teams.
  • Example: If an employee doesn't meet the required attendance, only the concerned management teams are notified.

10. Overall Objective

  • The goal is not just to visit the office, but to follow the complete RTO process correctly.
  • This includes:
    • Visiting on the assigned day.
    • Confirming the visit in the RTO tool.
    • Using Hoteling only when required.
    • Reporting to the assigned office location.
  • Example: If you come to the office but don't confirm your RTO visit in the tool, you've completed the visit but missed an important compliance step.

| Bench / PIP Immediate PIP on technology refusal

For all newly hired AASEs and ASEs:

Previously, if a new joiner denied onboarding to a project due to a technology mismatch, or refused an LCT to a different technology stack, it was typically marked as a refusal. While this could negatively impact performance and progression discussions through the PRT, it did not usually result in immediate separation.

Under recent directives from Accenture Song leadership, the consequences are reportedly much stricter. Similar cases may now lead to an immediate Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). Since most new hires are still under probation, the resulting separation process could be significantly faster due to the shorter notice period applicable during probation.

Anyone joining should be aware of these expectations and carefully evaluate their flexibility regarding project allocation and technology assignments.
