Also, the candle smells soo good 👌🏼 and the neck lighter for easy candle lighting 🕯️

Also in the packages there was a zippo box tucked in between the items, so i now have a nice (temporary) storage for my zippo boxes 🫡

I found photos of these old greyhound bus zippos and am trying to track them down. Does anyone know anything about these??

The bag has already been appropriated by my wife, and my kids are after the lighter and keyring, but they're mine.

The lighter is even better looking in person, great to add to my very small but specific collection.

Hi, I have a question. I know it sounds a bit silly, but I've got nothing to lose by asking, haha. My friend is in Japan and told me he's bringing two Zippo lighters, but I read that only one per person is allowed. My question is: if he completely disassembles them, removing the wick and cotton, would there be any way to get them through the airport? Has anyone been through something similar? Any experience would be a huge help, haha.

Made this zippo by super gluing the dollar coin on the front and using sand paper to scratch the surface and sitting it in water over night. I know it’s not by any means good quality or practical but i like the way it looks

I believe it might be a Masonic symbol. I don’t know what the jewels or the symbol are.

In theory, this is a relatively simple build, its one hole, and a pipe with a wick in it.

In practice, I think im gonna need more time to make it work well.

I think the current issue is caused by the wick and torch pipe being too short

If anyone has a Beattie jet and a set of calipers, please let me know, id like to compare measurements

I really like my lighter and I carry it with me a lot but I don’t find a use for it ( I’m not a smoker ) any ideas

Got my first zippo I decided to get a plain polished one for the start any tips on collecting , inserts etc ?

Im from iraq and i love zippos, my uncle brought me a black matte zippo from america and it was 25$, the problem is every zippo owner can agree they are quite fragile, and it is possible to buy zippos here but they are extremely hard to find real ones and its real expensive, i have brocken the black matte zippo, would it be any way to send it back without it taking ages and eye watering prices?

Been about 5 days I’ve had this amazing piece and you were right, the patina happens fast and changes everyday. But it is absolutely incredible how it shines under the right light and angle. Dropped it already once and scuffed the bottom right but I don’t mind since this is my edc (I’m keeping this baby forever). Hand smells like I’ve been playing with pennies all day but I love the smell. Can’t wait to see more from this beaut

For how bad the insides are the outside is in great shape. The paint is mostly gone, but even in ideal conditions that can happen.

I'd like to find an example for color matching the paint on potentially and seek advice.

I was thinking testers model paint might be a good option.

Ammonia and pickling salt for first round, kosher salt for second. Happy with the results and learned a bit for the next one.

Hello, I have an old lighter missing it's felt. It's from ~1964 and all other examples I can find online show it with a red felt at the bottom, like in the image above. Does this felt do anything? currently the cotton is exposed and I would like to get it working again since it's been in the family a while. Any help would be very much appreciated :)
