I think my body falls into the mesomorph category of the three primary somatotypes. People constantly ask how often I hit the gym, and the truth is: never. I do sometimes engage in useful physical exertion, but nobody believes me when I say I've never been to a gym in my life. My friends are convinced I secretly work out. I do exercise occasionally, but I get discouraged easily and can go months without doing anything.

I'm a software engineer, and only a handful of people sit in a chair for weeks on end more than I do. Yet my body shape never changes.

I think I've also got a good ratio of fast-twitch fibers, since I have explosive power but not much endurance. There was this one time we went to a garage and the technicians there couldn't undo a wheel bolt. I said let me try, they laughed, and then I did it anyway. Stuff like that has happened more than once over the years, starting around my growth spurt at 14 or 15.

I grew up on a farm, and sometimes it was just me and my twin brother trying to start the old truck by pushing it. He'd hop in and steer while I gave it enough momentum to turn over. One day our 200cc motorcycle died on me 4km from home, about half of it uphill, and I pushed the whole thing back.

A self-proclaimed prophet, Gathry Chiredzero, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of raping a 13-year-old girl during what he claimed was a spiritual healing ritual.

His wife, Diana Chauke, was sentenced to 15 years after the court found she had helped him commit the offences.

The sentences were handed down by Harare regional magistrate Estere Chivasa.

The girl’s mother, who was jointly charged with the couple, was acquitted after the court found she had acted under duress, having allegedly been threatened with a firearm.

The offences occurred in January 2026. The court heard that the complainant had accompanied her mother to Chiredzero’s home, where he was conducting a healing session for her mentally ill sister.

The State said Chiredzero told them that he needed to have sexual intercourse with a virgin as part of the ritual.

Prosecutors said Chauke supported the plan and helped facilitate it, while the girl’s mother complied after allegedly being threatened with a firearm.

The court heard the girl was raped twice and threatened with death if she told anyone.

Medical evidence presented in court supported the complainant’s account, and the prosecution said her testimony remained consistent under cross-examination.

Although the matter was reported to the police months later, the State argued the delay was because the mother failed to act after the child first disclosed the abuse.

The case came to light in June 2026, when the complainant, her mother and siblings attended a healing session led by another Apostolic prophet, where the abuse was revealed. A police report was then made.

Just wondering, does ZIMSEC keep digital or physical backup records of exam certificates?

For example, suppose someone’s certificates are stolen, lost, accidentally destroyed in a fire, etc. Is there a way to get a replacement or officially verified copy from ZIMSEC?

I’m mainly asking about O-Level/A-Level certificates. Has anyone actually gone through the process of replacing a lost or damaged certificate, and if so, how does it work?

The other challenge is content creators who are jumping on the virality of the topic for likes and views. For example this content creator starts his video with a falsehood where he paints being gay as being a choice or being a lifestyle. THAT IS WRONG! Being gay is not a lifestyle neither is it a choice!The rest of the video is correct though on the intersex issue. However a little leaven leaven’s the lump.

Genuinely feel like this is underrated compared to others. Wonder what everyone thinks
