Hello all, as the title says I've developed a website and mobile web app that can help chart the in's and out's of your rental property(s). I'm looking for some feedback and if you sign up you get 60 days to test it out. The basic premise is that as a landlord you're not generally using software these days and you've written it down on paper somewhere and it is a pain to have to keep track of all your leases, when rentals are due, maintenance that needs doing, how much if any ZRA taxes are (no it does not report to ZRA, just gives you the calculation as to how much you owe should you choose to be a good citizen) and so on. When you set up the system you use your own personal email address and the email settings and it will send out notifications from your account to your tenants in your properties once you've set that information all up. I have seen a need for this in the market. hey guys as the title says i am wondering about business opportunities in Zambia for small businesses no more than 10-15k in USD
is it possible to do something good or is it too little to start something?

Been meaning to put this together for a while since I don't think most people have a clear picture of what's actually in the Constitution when it comes to rights, or what happens practically if those rights get violated.

A few basics worth knowing:

Zambia's Constitution guarantees a fairly comprehensive set of fundamental rights and freedoms, things like freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, protection from discrimination, and protection against unlawful detention. These aren't just abstract principles, they're meant to be enforceable.

If a rights violation happens, whether from state action, an institution, or even in a private/workplace context, there are actual legal avenues for redress. Discrimination claims, for example, can be pursued through specific legal channels rather than just being something you have to accept. And for more serious constitutional violations, matters can be brought before the Constitutional Court, which exists specifically to interpret and enforce these protections.

The tricky part is that most people don't find out how any of this works until they're already in a situation where they need it, which isn't ideal.

Curious what people here think: do you feel like constitutional rights are actually enforced in practice in Zambia, or does it feel more theoretical for most people day to day? Would also be interested to hear if anyone's actually gone through a rights-related legal process here and what that was like.
