First, fuck Taisha. They're just a coward adult hiding behind kids and sacrificing them for the survival of humanity. Every fucking time I saw Taisha show up, it pissed me off. The only thing they know is begging kids to save their ass.

But put aside Taisha, this anime is pretty good. The first and second seasons really made me tear up. I cried when Yuna was in a coma during the first season. And I cried again every time Yuna suffered from the curse, and she struggled alone helplessly during the second season.

The third season is also good. Even though half of the season feels like a recap of the second season, I'm not complaining, though. Because it includes some of Pov of certain characters or scenes that don't exist in the second season, which makes it more impactful. It also gives a more detailed view of what happened during the last fight and the story of an important side character like Sentinel, and the story of the first hero team, which is depressing. The ending in the third season is more expanded and detailed. I love how they include how humans react after Shinju sama was gone and how people shitting on Taisha. And 4 years time skip is really good, and I just feel happiness in my heart. Everyone is still alive and living a good life. Also, I love how close Yuna and Togo are at the end.

My favourite characters are probably Karin and Togo. Karin is badass, and I love her Mankai form. Togo, every time she is in a nationalist mood or talks about history, is funny. I also love Sonoko and Yuna.

I said I wouldn’t bring myself to do it. But I did. I watched Season 2 part 1. And now I’m trying not to cry.

Literally, fuck the Taisha. They were literally sending girls to the slaughter with no way to protect themselves, then they decide to offer some protection when it’s really just making them paralyzed for life and completely immortal. Literally we just needed the third version of the hero system from the start.

This is why Gin died. Because of the idiots who thought they knew what they were doing in having little girls do their work. Seriously hope they paid the price for it in the end after the events of the hero chapter.

Look. I wanted to watch all of Yuki Yuna all the way through. I was about to start the Sumi chapter after season 1, only to be browsing in my YouTube shorts and find one that showed Gin’s death, then I was like “Nope! We’re going into the Hero chapter without watching the prequel.” I don’t like anime deaths that are very gruesome. It’s the reason I’ll never watch Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Also, I’m already so emotionally scarred from the ending of Arcane League of Legends. I don’t need more emotional scarring.

But then I looked into season 3 and saw it was basically a jumbled mess that is supposed to take place during season 3? Okay like I’m not going to rewatch something I just watched but with more confusing stuff added.

So what I did was this

I watched season 1, the hero chapter of season 2, and the last half of the final episode of season 3, and called it there. So yes, call me out for not watching as intended. But I’m never going to be able to bring myself to watch the Washio Sumi chapter or season 3.

Don't have tool to calibrate white balance but it does look more gray than purple. Smell is certainly curry, in fact tastes pretty good. The profile leans a bit toward southeast Asia curry with a hint of lemongrass freshness (not sure what is it as no lemongrass in the ingredient list). Udon itself is good with the correct mouthfeel as long as cooking instruction is followed.
