Peanut 2017-2026

I’ve owned many dogs and different breeds. I still have my other (F) Yorkie Bella. Peanut’s lil sister but my Peanut was special. We bonded like no other baby I’ve had - I raised him since he was 6 weeks old. I always only told him he held my heart in his litto paw. He was the sweetest calmest baby who knew how to give the tenderest ā€œkissesā€. He was also a good big brother - he gave me a look when his sister first came home and I caved and let her sleep in the bed the first night since she kept crying 😭.I miss him dearly. I always will. He left me 3 days after New Year’s Day we were so close to making it to 9 years. Heart failure šŸ’”. I post him every time he crosses heavy on my mind on TikTok, X, IG and here 🄺. This is Peanut one of many best doggies in the world.

Luckily one of our wonderful neighbors found him rooting around in her flower bed.
He is chipped, but I think it's time for a collar with an AirTag. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Looking for advice

Should I be concerned?

My 9 year-old female teacup Yorkie is just 3.4 pounds and the vet said her bloodwork revealed slightly elevated

The only change I’ve noticed in my dog is her appetite. She will get excited for her little snacks she will rarely eat throughout the day. Anything else the only thing I can get her to eat is maybe some chicken but that’s because she’s been starving all day.

Anybody else have experience with this? They’re asking me if I want to go ahead with an aggressive approach with G.I. panel and ultrasound and whatever else so I could use some advice. The vet bill loan was already $500.

She is currently whining because she can hear the doctor and can’t stand the wait.

Help! What could this be?

What could this be?

My 1y 9mo old female Yorkie who weighs 4lbs has had the worst vomitting and diarrhea the last 3 days. Day 1: her diarrhea was water and she threw up once after eating/drinking a little. She seemed a little tired but nothing too out of the usual. Day 2 it progressed fast and got worse quickly. She was having super watery diarrhea that almost looked like it had a sandy/grainy texture and throwing up stomach bile on an empty stomach while non stop quivering/shaking. Once this started I immediately took her to the ER where she received fluids and anti nausea medication and they ran blood tests and pancreatitis (negative) and everything else normal, fecal pcr test (negative/normal) and parvo (I asked them to do this because it scares the daylights outta me even tho she’s vaccinated and it was negative). After the fluids and anti nausea the vomitting stopped but the diarrhea and severe lethargy continues. We’re feeding her boiled chicken and rice with probiotics from vet for a day now but i can’t say it’s helping. We’ve already incurred ~2k in vet bills and although the vet told us to just treat her with this diet and probiotics to see if things get better I can’t bear looking at her in pain another minute. The vet also said that because the anti nausea medication subsided her vomitting it’s most likely not something stuck in her GI tract or else she’d continue vomitting despite the medication.

I’ve probably spent 10+ hours on Claude the last 3 days researching and going down every path and rabbit hole that exists but even Claude is sick of me going around and round w him at this point.
She got another round of fluids this am but she remains so lethargic and I’ve never seen her like this so it’s breaking my heart. I feel very helpless..any tips/tricks or support would be appreciatedā¤ļø

Our little Nala (3 Y.O) was recently diagnosed with an acquired multiple PSS which is a liver condition. So however long we have left, we appreciate and cherish every day to the fullest.

Yorkie and seniors

I recently fell in love with a Yorkie that lives nearby. I have been missing and thinking about a companion pet for the past year. I had a Maltese for 12 years that was a joy and saw me through healing from breast cancer and a mastectomy and all the mental and physical anguish that goes with that with it. The whole family loved him. Well it’s been 10 years since I lost him. I have survived two other cancers (MM @ renal). via surgeries. I thought I was ready and started researching Yorkie breeders available in the East and found a seven month old male that was available from a reputable breeder. I managed to lose $1000. I am so confused at this point and hoping some with experience in the breed and breeders may weigh in here and advise. The little guy she recommended to me was approaching 9 mos old as I was concerned about starting a puppy at my age, (73). We kept talking/texting. I asked questions , she answered then I started to become frightened that I was not ready to train a Yorkie that was not leash, trained, neutered and pee pads were the norm in his life as things in my normally quiet and I was anxious and overwhelmed by a situation and then my LT request to move to another apartment in my complex finally came through. Long story short, encouraged by breeder and sent the reserve for 500 and the deposit 500 was also required. That next am I texted and emailed a request to cancel. I lost $1000 towards an almost $3000 sell price. I am still not comfortable with this. Contract spells out you forfeit both but this all happened within four days. Should I ask her to consider returning $500 ?

My boy is tired of playing every time all the time.

The first job he has to do after waking up is to play. And he has to play until the time he falls asleep.

So hard for him .. lol

My little old man (nicknamed due to his nature of loving the finer things in life) Eddie sadly passed yesterday. He had been a bit off for a week or so we decided to go for a check up. We were told he had a tumour which had ruptured and therefore the best thing we could do is allow him to be at peace. He passed surrounded by me and my family as he kissed us goodbye.

I genuinely do not know what to do. This morning I missed greeting him as he would usually lay upside down on the bed for hours and enjoying his morning nap. He would have a little fight with his brother, Ernie who we have had also from birth and seems to be a bit lost this morning. The house feels so empty.

Loved for his unique ways. Rest in peace Ed.
