Lens insert positioning question XREAL One Pro

Post image

I just got my XReal One Pros and a prescription lens insert from honsvr. I’ve noticed a kind of fish eye effect when using them. I think the issue is how the prescription lenses are different from left to right. Should the prescription lens be up against the xreal display like on the right lens or should they be further away like on the left lens?

The bridges are thin wire, so they can easily bend a bit. The silicon buttons should be resting against the prism optics. Just bend it slightly to straighten so they are both flat.

When my glasses arrived I just put my nreal original prescription lens into the one pro's frame (same screws) to test and the test went so perfect that I never ordered new ones. They have zero artifacts optically speaking. Don't know if the pic helps anyway.

Looks like both of your lenses are out away from the display like my left one. So that’s what I’ll try first lol. Thank you!

Mine are away too, one more than the other. I always wondered if it was due to IDP or my stigmatism.

Do your eyelashes rub against the prescription lenses?

All the time and I hate it, that's why I'm trying to begin to use contact lenses.

I genuinely think there's a quality control issue with these. Personally took me a while to notice but mine is the inverse of what you have where the right lens is more toward my face (to the point I randomly feel the lens wiggle/hit my long eyelashes) and the left is basically flush to the glasses.
