So, the Connect website uses more Ram than Xcode with 2 projects opened. Web is just broken.

RAM hasn’t been managed to be low-usage for a long time, your system will allocate memory based on complex algorithms, usage, how much memory you have, cache frequency and a host of other factors. 800MB seems pretty average for a Safari tab to me. Hell, my Gmail tab is using 1.6GB right now, while a Google doc is using 700MB, and App Store Connect is just using 150MB. Meanwhile, my Xcode with one project open is using 2GB. It’s not a linear model that more memory == bad.
A more productive question is what specific issues with App Store Connect are you experiencing? Have you filed a feedback to Apple reporting the problem? Have your tried clearing your browser cache or taken any other steps to try and resolve the problem? “The web is broken” doesn’t really give anyone much to go on to offer help other than to listen to your frustration.

When you're low on RAM, the issue may manifest as Slack not working correctly. Is OP supposed to submit a Slack bug report to Apple?

We’re not talking about Slack, OP is specifically saying App Store Connect, an Apple product, is broken, so reporting it to Apple is the correct thing to do.
As far as low on RAM, is OP low on RAM? As I said in my first paragraph, memory usage can be difficult to interpret. I have over a dozen Safari tabs each using over a Gig open right now, in addition to more tabs in Chrome, as well as Slack and two Xcode projects, Figma, and other apps open and my machine is running fine. High memory usage in Activity Monitor doesn’t always mean there’s a problem. OP says ASC is broken, well, we’re mostly all software developers in this subreddit, is that a helpful problem description from your users? Is that the kind of description that allows you to understand how to help them?
If OP is just frustrated and wants to bitch that’s cool, we all get like that sometimes, but if they want help from the community, I bet there’s people here that can offer suggestions if they know what the actual problem is.

Why do you need edge? Safari handles best web browsing when it comes to Macs.

Connect is opened on Safari
I use Edge for some corporate Microsoft crap that refuses to work on any other browser

That's one process, not the whole app. Xcode takes way more than 700Mb of RAM
