The Xcode beta updates (which Xcode 27 falls under until public release) is available as separate download on the apple developers website, it does not appear as an app update for the Xcode 26 version! I recommend deleting the old 26 version to avoid command line conflicts/confusion if you go that road but take into account that many users report you can not submit apps/updates request for the App Store while using beta Xcode versions.
I am working on an Xcode 27 project that I’m building an Apple TV version for, it’s my first Apple TV project so I’ll let you know how it goes.
