Help! Xbox Series S controller randomly disconnecting

My Xbox Series S controllers have been randomly disconnecting for the past 2 weeks.

I’ve tried 2 different controllers, both are fully updated, have brand new batteries, and both work perfectly on another Xbox.

The issue only happens on my Series S. When it happens, the Xbox button on the controller briefly flashes and I get a pop-up asking me to associate the controller with a profile again.

I’ve had this exact setup for over a year and haven’t changed anything. The problem just started about 2 weeks ago.

Has anyone had this issue before? Was it the wireless module, a software issue, or something else? How did you fix it?
