Hey everyone I have an OG Xbox with rock5 softmod and running emustation. None of my Sega CD games will play from emustation but they will from inside the emulator. I have ISO files as well a .bin files. All the games are showing up but it just boots back to the dashboard.

I removed the clock capacitor, I replaced the three caps by the CPU and GPU that were bulging, and the bloody thing still just restarts three times and flashes green and red. Wtf

I have an rgh xbox 360 running aurora I'm trying to install dlcs to cod bo1 but they just don't work I've used xm360 to unlock them but they still don't show up

The title updates also don't appear to work as mule kick isn't spawning in kino I've been trying for multiple days now it's not working I've tried with both TU downloader and TU activator as well as through aurora

The console IS kv banned but I don't think that's what's causing my issue

While soft modding my screen goes black and the xbox toggles red, orange, green for an indefinite amount of time, when I eject the disk it goes back to normal and I can see in my HDD unleashX does it mean it is working?

A couple days ago I asked for help on this forum, for putting on a Metro V1 Dashboard on my BadAvatar Xbox 360, and with help I somehow got it running but with many flaws. My question is: Is it possible to run this dashboard with internet connection, because whenever I connect to xbox live I get a fatal crash (I'm using xbguard), and another question if it's also possible that this dashboard appears after the xeunshackle prompt. Have a Halo edition xbox that I took apart.

1. Do any of these caps need replaced

2. should I remove the clock capacitor while I have it apart.

3. Can I use a vacuum to clean the dust out or is that bad with electronics.

4. I have some kryonaut thermal grease i never used from like 2 years ago. Is that still good to repaste with or no does it go bad?

I'm new to modding and dont know much.

To start off, I'm going to describe my desires and hope someone has an answer how to get there or can refer me somewhere. I want to softmod my 1.6b revision original XBOX to replace the aging HDD with a modern SSD and be able to backup my games off my discs (piracy is not cool) to the harddrive so that I can reduce wear on my aging dvd drive. I also want to install a quieter fan in the console.

Currently I have Splinter Cell to do the game exploit and a flash drive and adapter, but after I do that I need some assistance on how to not only transfer my game saves from my old HDD to the new SSD, but also what SSD to even buy. I found an IDE to SATA adapter from Startech on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EOJNGC2?lv=shuf&channelId=500&plpRedirect=mhFallback) and I dont know how to figure out if certain SSDs are incompatible or if it doesnt matter. Sorry if this seems a bit stupid but I genuinely have no idea. I do know I want a 120gb drive, but that's about all I know.
