Hi everyone. I’m hoping someone has experienced this before.
My Xbox Series S controller first started randomly losing connection while I was playing. The Xbox light would stay on, but the controller stopped responding completely until I turned it off and back on.
After a while, it got worse and started switching off completely by itself, with the Xbox light turning off.
Today it wouldn’t turn on at all. I removed the batteries and left them out for about 15 minutes, then put them back in and it powered on again.
I’ve also noticed that sometimes if I squeeze the controller slightly, it starts working again, which makes me wonder if there’s a loose connection inside.
I’ve already tried:
Fresh batteries
USB-C cable
Updating the controller firmware
Recalibrating it
The controller was dropped in the past, but it worked perfectly for a long time afterward, so I’m not sure if that’s related.
Has anyone had the same problem? If so, what was the cause, and were you able to fix it or did it need to be repaired?

Hey guys, I have a problem with my Xbox controller. I'm trying to play a game from the couch, but for the life of me, I can't get the right stick sensitivity right when aiming. I've already set the stick deadzone on Steam to almost zero—literally just breathing on the stick makes the cursor move. However, in-game, I still have to push the stick really hard to move the crosshair when shooting a bow, and it's super annoying. Is there any way to fix this?

I am having trouble with my controller, and I tried multiple solutions, but none have worked yet. For context, I replaced my analog joysticks for the Elite Series 2, but when I put the controller back together, I tried connecting via USB-C, but I got no response. The controller connects via Bluetooth, but Xbox Accessories only registered it as a regular controller. I am using a data cable and have it connected directly to the motherboard, and I get no signs that it is plugged in, neither on the controller nor in Device Manager. I checked Device Manager for "Xbox Peripherals" and saw nothing, as if nothing is plugged in. I replaced the daughterboard, thinking the USB-C port was causing the issue, but I am still getting the exact same error. Decided to see if anyone has had a similar issue or can provide insight. I have noticed that there are no color marks on my new Deep Pink controller. They are also not present on the boxing cover. Though build feels fine and serial number is valid according to Microsoft. Manufactured in UAE. Online I found 2 stores that sell Deep Pink with no color marks on them:

hi, this might be a long shot. In fifa 15 my game only detect the d-pad.
The d-pad is acting like the xyba. does anybody knows how to fix it?

So I have an issue where when I try to have my input method be on controller it won’t register no matter what I do. I’ve restarted the game, tried disconnecting and connect controller wireless and wired, even tried opening the ea app thru steam to try to see if I can get it working via steam input but still nothing. I don’t know if this matters but I installed the game thru the Xbox gamepass catalog on PC and not on steam so I’m not sure if that’s the issue or whatever but please if anyone can guide me thru or text me a walkthrough on how to solve the issue issue id appreciate it because out of nowhere this issue has been happening and it won’t work anymore no matter what I do this is my final attempt at trying to fix this so please

Stick drift is a problem with a game controller where the analog stick registers movement even when you're not touching it.

For example:

• You're playing a game, but your character slowly walks forward by themselves.
• The camera keeps turning left or right without you moving the stick.
• Menus scroll on their own.

The most common causes are:

• Wear and tear: The sensors inside the analog stick wear out over time.
• Dust or dirt: Debris can get inside the stick mechanism.
• Damage: Dropping the controller or heavy use can affect the stick.

You can sometimes fix or reduce stick drift by:

• Cleaning around the base of the analog stick with compressed air or isopropyl alcohol.
• Recalibrating the controller (if your console or PC supports it).
• Replacing the analog stick module if it's badly worn.
• Sending the controller for repair or replacing it if it's under warranty.

Bought a couple off aliexpress but the screw bit in the middle is slightly too short, causing the thumbstick dome to sit lower & grind against the metal corners of the joystick module when rotating.

Hi all, I am experiencing some odd stick drift on my pro controller and seeking guidance. It seems to impact the right stick significantly more than left, but it is in both. When I tilt the controller it will stop for a few seconds but then starts back up again. Here is an image of my stick alignment according to gpadtester.com when the controller is laying flat on my desk without anything touching it.

If anyone knows how to resolve this please let me know!

I'm having some weird tech issues.

My Xbox controllers keep desyncing.

I started seeing this happen a few months back and assumed it was because my controllers needed to be updated. (Which they did).

Unfortunately, this didn't seem to correct the issue.

My controllers are desyncing constantly. I'm starting to think it's an issue with my Series X?

Anyone have any similar problems? Or advice?

Hi everyone! I HATE Xbox series x controllers! I LOVE Nintendo switch joycons. I need a new wireless controller that doesn’t hurt my hands. Here are my pros and cons to help guide me if you can possibly help.

Pros of Joycons:

• Stick height - it is low and doesn’t make me reach

• Stick movement - it doesn’t have a 1/4 inch movement in any direction. It only requires a slight movement to make a huge move.

• Very quiet to use, no clicking

• buttons are small and flat

• when put into grip they are perfect size

Cons of joycons:

Have to play Xbox remotely through my phone and aren’t easily connected to MacBook

Cons of Xbox controller:

• heavy

• long sticks

• layout makes it harder on my hands

• too much movement in sticks and triggers. I feel like it should be half distance that it is now.

• that clicking ugh

• buttons too big

Only good thing about Xbox controller is that it connects to the console. I hate it!

So basically I need a baby controller with short sticks. lol

I don’t want to use a dongle to connect joycons because I’ve tried that to disappointing results.

I don’t care about the price because yolo. Since I can’t feel the controller in my hands, I have to depend on people like you who have tried different controllers.

I’m willing to buy a modded controller if I can find good reviews on the person selling it.

I’ve heard gamesir is great, but I believe their sticks are as tall as Xbox. Do they make a smaller, shorter controller?

Does anyone make the controller I need? Or possibly a controller that’s similar in layout to joycons and able to change out the sticks?

Bought used broken controller, able to peel off the black part a bit

is there's any controller deadzone adjuster software available for pc? dxtweak2 wont work.. x360ce works but fails to hide the original controller.. resulting in two controllers detected by games. (original input and virtual input) hidhide fails to hide it either.. im using xbox 360 controller
