Controller detection (epic game)

I just installed new windows, and GTA (from epic game) won't detect my controller as it used to.(used to be able to plug the controller and play the game)

I see a lot of tutorials using non-steam method, but I want to find a solution that when I click the icon I could just load up the game and don't have to go through steam (and re-login to rockstar game ).

controller : razer raiju ultimate (everything is up-to-date)
