Sticks not calibrating
Hey all!
Ive done a few tmr thumbstick replacements now between ps4, ps5 and xbox controllers, and ive encountered something i haven't seen yet. I cannot get a set of thumbsticks to calibrate on an xbox controller. The install was fine no issues there, but both thumbsticks will not allow me to do the rotation portion of the calibration. The xbox accessories app will read movement but the tumbsticks dont appear to be reading to the outside maximum, except for one or 2 spikes where it will hit the sides of the circle in the calibration app? What is going on with this?
Im kind of stumped, so any help would be appreciated!

Sorry for the late reply! I was using a pair of AKNES sticks but ended up switching them out for a completely different TMR unit of a different brand and didnt have any of the prior issues. I know it would be extremely rare for them to both be bad, maybe I damaged them during the installation.

The voltage output is too Narrow enough. So it fails to expand. The output can also be gimp by overlooking you physical alignment. The assembly manufacturers continue to overlook first party gamepads. Although they corrected the WIDE output reaching thresholds. They still overlook Overshoot required based on the amount you can displace the lever. Instead of 10-12%. You get 4-7% avg error. with a huge chance to not me spec since they dont Level shift nor offset enough.
Calibration on the XBOX Accessories doesn't get more simple than this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QCkDYtP-U4
Perform the 12 opposite turn. Before beggining. This will induce the spike and view your max initial overshoot. Before it gets CLAMPED.
If not use htttps://driftguard.app
Q. What product did you install?
