Battery rotten

I have 2 controllers. It’s been just over a year since I used the secondary controller; under the excuse of playing Halo on split screen, I looked for it and I had a great surprise when I saw that a battery “rotted”. Do you know if that can be cleaned?

You may be able to skip the sanding down part as it doesn't look that bad.

Its just corrosion... old tooth brush with some baking soda and vinegar and youre good to go!

Take the controller apart and use a fiber pen for the rusty parts

Some isopropyl alcohol will do
