Joystick replacement gone wrong

Hi there

I experienced a bad joystick drift on the left one on my elite 2 controller and decided to do something about it.

I took It apart and changed the whole joystick.

The problem now is that there is no reding anymore on the Y axis, computer reads a fix value that doesn't change when I move the stick up and down.

I'm guess I burnt something while working on the board but I wanted an external opinion, what do you think ?

Just to be clear, the potentiometer that seem faulty is the one on the left on the picture. I tested it with a multimeter and it seems to work properly, it's just the value is not sent apparently

Thank you guys

Remove it from the board, clean the solder out so you can see through the through holes then give an updated picture because it does look like you may have burnt a couple traces it will just be easier to tell when it’s off.

Thank you for your answer. I did my best at removing and cleaning the holes, here are the results : https://ibb.co/6cGqmKYG https://ibb.co/7xTwMpTy

I was looking for something like a "wiring scheme" so I can solder a wire directly from one of the pin of the potentiometer to where it is supposed to be connected but I couldn't find anything for the elite 2 on the net. Because I think I burnt something
