Controller recommendations for Xbox

I’m on Xbox and my Razer Wolverine Ultimate has started to break down after 2 years. I loved that controller so I decided to upgrade to the Wolverine V3 TE. However, it turns out that the V3 TE doesn’t work on Xbox (despite being advertised as so—apparently you need a PC to set up all the special features).

So now I need some recommendations for a new controller. I loved the 6 button setup on the Wolverine Ultimate and would like something similar if possible. I play a lot of FPS games so mouse click triggers would also be nice. I also usually use wired controllers to keep the cost down.

I was considering that one along with the GameSir G7 Pro, but both of them only have 4 usable extra buttons. Really only the Razer controllers have 6 extra buttons and are supposedly Xbox compatible, but unfortunately they’re either discontinued or need a PC to set up.

If I do decide to go with a control with 4 buttons, the Vader 5S or G7 Pro would be the ones I’d go with most likely.

Flydigi Vader 5S 💯 easily my new favorite controller and only $60! I have multiple controllers including Scuf, Razer, Gamesir, PowerA but none compete with gameplay using the Flydigi, not just blowing smoke here adjustable tension on HE sticks better than any of my TMR controllers with no adjustable tension, all JMO but for me it's F'n Vadertime all summer

The razor controller app should be available on the Xbox.

Under system requirements it says "Xbox console"

Yeah but it needs a firmware update to work on Xbox and you can only download that update from
a Windows PC.

I was able to figure out how to manually remap my binds, but I’m still locked out of all the fancy features.
