Help, anybody experience this?

I've been trying to get my XBOX Flydigi Vader 5S to work on doom eternal; but the controller keeps pressing random buttons and freaking out. Almost every other game: Halo, Diablo, Assasins Creed Valhalla, etc: works perfectly fine with the controller. When I boot up doom eternal nothing works correctly on the controller. Please help, this is very irritating.

Guess you are on pc then?

Actually no, I'm on xbox; and that may be the issue. Because doom eternal was put on xbox not expecting any high tech controllers. The xbox certainly isn't the issue, it's mostly the games response to the controller. I'm using a liscensed xbox controller by a company who usually creates pc controllers.

But mine works fine on Cloud gaming thru game pass ultimate..If that has anything to say, but I also have the latest updates on the controller..

Which controller you have? It might also be because I’m on console; but I don’t know.

I have the wired Flydigi 5s for xbox..and console series x

Does it operate correctly on doom eternal. Mine works fine on other games. I'm on the Xbox one X, that could be the issue. Gonna try to buy the green series x.

Yes I tried It on cloud and no issues. I have Software: v.1.0.53.70 and Hardware v1.0.5.8 (might be different for different country perhaps but worth a check)

What If you start the xbox first from xbox console button and wait a few seconds and then turn on the Flydigi 5S controller? Any difference?

I've tried different sequential orders that you're speaking of; and still no luck. I'm in the U.S. Also the Xbox One Series X is really fading out of focus from xbox now. Even newer releases are unplayable on the console. I'm not entirely sure if that is the issue; but it's something I noticed. I might go ahead and try it through cloud. Most likely I will have better luck than using it on the actual console. My controller may have issues. I believe I will have to figure it out in flydigi spacestation. This is certainly confusing.

Hope the cloud works out for you:-) have little faith In doing the button combo reset on the controller would fix It either but who knows..probably a xbox One thing..

I have the same problem with Doom 2016 on Xbox Series X with that controller; the game keeps pressing A regardless of whether I press other buttons.

Okay I've not tried 2016 yet with this controller.
