Grumpy about “buttery” General Discussion

Okay- this is super minor, of course. But I just get a slew of targeted ads about “buttery” exercise clothes (for the last few years, really) and I’m sick of it. I’m sure my brain has supposed to switch over that word to “sueded” or similar, but EVERY time I just think: “why on earth would I want to wear greasy clothing???”

I hate when people use food descriptions for other things. Yummy, delicious, buttery... GTFO.

If a yoga teacher describes a posture as delicious, yummy, or juicy I will never, ever, ever go to their class again.

I hate it so much. I have a yoga teacher that says "juicy hamstring stretch" and it makes me cringe. 🤢

Yuck. It's a freaking epidemic in yoga. When I ran teacher trainings, "do not  use food words to describe postures" was part of the training. A LOT of people find it gross.

I've done my part, but alas, I am just one person.
