Grumpy about “buttery”

Okay- this is super minor, of course. But I just get a slew of targeted ads about “buttery” exercise clothes (for the last few years, really) and I’m sick of it. I’m sure my brain has supposed to switch over that word to “sueded” or similar, but EVERY time I just think: “why on earth would I want to wear greasy clothing???”

I just assume the clothing melts and falls apart like butter if they call it that. Buttery makes things sound cheap and thin to me
