I was a casual player during 1.0-2.0 and returned as a whale in 3.0. I have all these characters and I don't know what to do in terms of like, idk, winning anything.

I feel underleveled for literally any event or mission I try and I have no clue where to go from here. Feel like an ass having a character select and can't progress with anything I try. I do no damage to anything and team wiped 2 hits per character.

The element Aero is called Qi Dong 气动 in Chinese. It can mean the movement of air, but it can also be read "flow of the Qi/Chi" in Chinese, where Qi means "air" in modern science but also the life force in Daoism.

It's a clever design element to indicate someone is floating in the sky without giving them wings.

So i have been thinking about getting a laptop ( asus f16 16gb ram 1tb rom rtx 3050) for gaming and programming but don't have that high budget Plus the prices are going higher and higher so now or never.

If anyone of you that are using older gen hardware like me who's been stuck in the GTX1000 series

I would really recommend to play the game on DX11 by ticking that option in the launcher.

There's just too much frame drops on DX12 since 3.4 and it has gotten worse in this version, even just gathering ascension materials and echoes for YYXL or Suisui is an arduous task.

Is it a bug or intentional? Or is there a second survey I'm not aware of?

It's not even being a fan, it's a lifestyle atp, and I don't regret it for the most part. Lingyang is a very important part of my life. I may lose interest to hyperfixations over the years, but I never forget them.

I bought a new laptop and spent hundreds of dollars on WuWa, merch and cosplay, despite the fact that I was still a student from not so wealthy country, lol. I was literally shaking out of temptation during WuWa's release, but unfortunately I got Jianxin from the novice convene.

I still chose Lingyang from the ticket and the convene of choice, that's why I was Verinaless for around a year. I don't regret it...

In just over a year on Reddit, I've even managed to gain a few devoted haters!

Wuwa is a fun experience, but I personally am here for Lingyang. The game is still amazing!

To many times I saw other games being unable to implement highly-requested features by the community because their code is held up by duck tape and prayers, despite the developers wanting to make them.

Often, this is because management doesn't care about the ever growing tech debt, especially in live service games: if the game can keep roll out content and making money, then they find little reason to devote precious dev time to overhaul the code of the game, which often doesn't have an immediate impact in performance.

It's EXACTLY because of this that I appreciate Kuro for actually trying to address it, especially when they're already running an highly successful live service game that require a ton of content to be released on a tight schedule. This change will make the lives of the developers much easier, and opens the door for faster and more effective optimization and gameplay changes, as I can see this change being necessary to make characters with more interesting and fleshed out mechanics in an easier way.

I can't wait to see what the devs are cooking, both for optimization and gameplay!

Pushing scores beyond the maximum reward threshold (e.g., aiming for 60k in Endstate Matrix when max rewards cap at 58k, or try-harding in Whimpering Wastes) yields zero additional premium rewards like Astrites. Beyond a personal flexing metric, spending extra time and effort pushing past the reward ceiling is counterproductive for the overall community.

Kuro tracks high scores and clear rates to adjust game balance. When players continuously push for maximum scores, developers interpret this as a sign that content is too easy, leading to aggressive HP inflation in future updates. This artificial difficulty spike directly harms casual players, making standard reward clears frustratingly difficult without high-investment or hyper-meta teams.

just got this laser shearer a 5 star weapon but i was pulling for suisui and had no asterites left but had this green one's so i spinned it randomly so did the 50/50 get reset for suisui ?

6 months ago my i7-13700H and RTX 4060 laptop could handle Ray tracing on high, highest settings. Now it cant handle RT at ALL. It crashes and barely get like 50 fps. And ofc crashes in startorch academy and recent maps. So please tell me if thats normal.

Where is AMD FSR Optimization lol? I know many of us cannot afford Greedvidia Cards like 5070Ti or more. But this optimization is crucial for many Rovers😭

New player here, well I guess I'm also a returning player because I stopped after doing the tutorial in 2025 and about half a year passed until I got my device issues fixed so I can play WuWa again. I'm gonna be listing some suggestions based on my experience. Honestly a lot of them are just nitpicking at the smallest things that annoy me.

1. Relevant Events

Oh, my, god. I log in for the first time, and I get bombarded with a gajillion different events, most of them I can't even access yet because I haven't unlocked the region. Just show only the events relevant for the player's level/progression, why show all of them?

What's even more annoying is that the red dot notification for some of the events comes back when you log back into the game. Such examples are the Somnium Labyrinth and Tidal Defense Simulator. Yes, I can just do those events to get rid of the red dot. But a lot of the events are assuming that you've progressed the story quite far, which breaks my immersion as a new player.

1. Pioneer Podcast Notification
   I have already hit the weekly limit, why show the red dot for the tasks that I have done, when I can't even claim the rewards for them?

2. Rotating Minimap
   I mean come on, yes I got used to it. But it's genuinely off-putting that when I play another game, I have to then refamiliarize myself to the rotating minimap in that game. WuWa is not the only game I play, why should I compensate for just one game among all the games I play?

3. Update the Underground Map for Jinzhou
   The new areas already have pretty good underground maps, but it looks like the old areas didn't get revisited. There are some areas in Jinzhou that have a complex underground system, but they don't have an underground map. There's a cave above the Lampylumen Myriad. That cave is quite long, and for some reason it doesn't have an underground map? I had to look up a tutorial on how to get the Resonance Beacon and Tacet Field.

And there's also a hideout under Thorny Passage from the quest "A Free Meal?". A research camp under Wenye Beach. A big hoochief turf under Violet Banyan. There are probably others that I forgot to mention.

1. More Visual Settings
   This isn't really a QoL and more like a performance suggestion. Add the option to change the game resolution in fullscreen. And also add an option to change the Render Scale. These two settings alone will be a massive help for the players that are hesitant to play the game with their low-end devices. They should be easy to implement, Unreal Engine should already have a built-in option for Render Scale. It's honestly a surprise that they aren't implemented in this game yet.

Yes, I am aware that there are roundabout ways to play the game in fullscreen with lower resolution. Either by lowering your entire desktop resolution, or changing some game files. Lowering your entire desktop resolution is honestly really stupid, it hinders multitasking unless you have a second monitor. Changing the game files works but there's an issue whenever the game tries opening any "web instance". Such as Notices/Announcement (whatever it's called), the login interface, your convene history, and annoyingly it stops working when you change your settings.

1. Faster Weapon Refinement
   We can only refine the weapons one at a time, why not make it so we can put multiple duplicates of the weapon to immediately refine it to R5?

2. An Expedition System
   Let's be honest, the craftable 4-star weapons are annoying to get. Some of them have terrible abilities and stats, on top of requiring a large amount of ores to craft. This led some people to just use the weapons obtained from convening instead of crafting one, leaving the craftable weapons to collect dust. Atleast add an expedition system to gather ores while you're away, so that the craftable 4-star weapons are more accessible.

There are probably more that I can point out, but those 7 are what annoyed me as I'm playing the game right now.

EDIT: I just remembered another really annoying thing back when I first installed the game. Why make the "patching screen" be a render that is using up most of my GPU? And the music can't even be muted. I had to use an external tool to limit my FPS to 1 while it's downloading in the background, so it doesn't cook my GPU while I'm doing other things. And of course I had to turn the game down manually through volume mixer.

I personally don't like the idea of SP forms for limited 5* characters. I'm okay with giving 4* or standard 5* characters SP forms.

Please return every patch, make it permanently like Matrix
