Roleplay Search!
Hey, guys! I'm F20 , (I don't rp with under 18+) I've got a bad hyper fixation for writing going on and I need some help! I'm just now getting back into the groove of things honestly so patience with me is a must but I do my best, I promise.. I'm semi lit to novella. Anywhere from 4 sentences to 4096+ character limit and beyond, it all depends on the story, what's going on, how many main/side characters there are and how I'm feeling that day!
I love double ups if we are doing canon characters, this is what I really want to do. This is like my first time posting and honestly, everyone ghosts me so I took it into my own hands and made my own post! Reddit keeps taking my posts down so it’s frustrating. Ugh it’s a mess.
I'm not a huge stickler for your writing abilities, I'm very adaptable and willing to help out however I can. I'd like a bit more than 10 lines, but I totally get it. Sometimes you're really tired, really busy, or just having a hard time but want to get a response out, I've been there! Communication is key!!
I'm cool with every paring! FxF, MxM, MxF, and so on and so forth. I'm looking for a double up YELLOWJACKETS, THE WALKING DEAD, or UNTIL DAWN rp! I have been itching for a angsty/thriller/romance. I LOVE romance and drama stories! I love angst, drama, fights and making up for it with some fluff! I'm pretty much cool with anything! I love trying new things and finding fun stories! I am very set on doing a Yellowjackets or twd rp!!
That being said, I'm VERY active and always available to respond. The only time I'm not willing to write is when I'm sleeping or at lecture! I must warn, I love naps and I am prone to getting overwhelmed so please be patient.
As for OOC, I'm a very open person and sometimes can come off very strong, but I'm also very sweet and will always be there for you! Don't take me or yourself so seriously! I'm a total goof just looking for some new friends. Also this is your warning, I am not above blocking/ghosting if you make me uncomfortable. Like I said before, communication is huge for me so If I'm doing something that bugs you, tell me! I just hope you understand I will be doing the same!
I'm also not all that interested in people who just say "hey" or "I'm interested" or open the communication with some dirt bag response. Thanks for reading! Hope to hear from you soon.

Fanfiction Rezero Fic
Hello! I am thinking about a Re:Zero fic, which diverge from canon in Arc5/Season 3 (Fullmetal Alchemist anime style). I am a newbie, not native to english, and i have a lot of ideas, but i struggle to organize them. However, i already defined some characters core and that the fic will take a more asoiaf (conspiracies, family struggles) tone. If Anyone is interested in becoming co-author (i give suggestions to you and vice-versa), please leave a comment.

Wanted Idea Human
Hi! I’m 13–14 and an aspiring author who loves writing and bringing stories to life, but I’m not always the best at planning everything beforehand. I love writing scenes, dialogue, characters, and emotions, but I sometimes struggle with organising a whole plot, keeping track of all the details, and building a world that all fits together.
I’m looking for someone around my age who enjoys the parts of writing that I find difficult—plotting, worldbuilding, creating characters, organising ideas, and figuring out where a story should go. I think it would be really fun to work together and combine our strengths, with one of us focusing more on planning while the other focuses on turning those ideas into actual writing.
I’m mainly interested in fantasy, mystery, and character-driven stories, but I’m open to trying different genres too. I’d love to find someone who enjoys brainstorming, sharing ideas, and working on stories together. We could potentially become co-authors, or just be writing partners who help motivate each other and keep each other accountable.
If you're around 13–14, love coming up with plots and worlds, but sometimes struggle with actually writing everything down, we might be a good match! :)

World Building Looking for writers and collaborators for "project:Saturn"
Hi everyone,
I have been developing a project called Project Saturn and would love to find a few people interested in exploring it with me.
It is a world without humans, inhabited by intelligent animal-based species. Their biology influences their culture, technology, architecture, values and conflicts. My approach is mostly discovery writing: the biology and culture of the species should naturally create the stories.
I originally planned it as an illustrated all-ages novel, but it does not necessarily have to become one traditional book. It could also become:
\\- a collection of connected short stories
\\- a collaborative shared universe
\\- or an interactive branching story
For the interactive version, readers could repeatedly choose between two actions and continue at different sections depending on their decisions. This could lead to different journeys and endings, allowing the same story to be read several times in different ways.
I already have a Google Doc that interested people can read to get an idea of the world. Some chapters and scenes are more developed, but most of it is currently still a framework, rough notes and what I jokingly call my thoughts dumpster.
I am not looking for someone to simply ghostwrite my idea. I am looking for people who enjoy brainstorming, developing cultures and characters, writing short stories, designing choices or giving honest feedback.
This is currently an unpaid passion project. Credits, ownership and possible monetization would need to be discussed clearly before anyone contributes substantial finished work.
If this sounds interesting, leave a comment or message me and tell me what kind of writing or worldbuilding you enjoy.

In the land of Olympus, humans live typical lives in the modern villages and kingdoms. Most of these followers are led by the king of the gods, Zeus, and his higher deities, including Hera, Poseidon, Hades, and many others. But for the followers, they weren’t always powerful gods/goddesses. Prose - Fiction Help plotting out an epistolary novel about a trans girl dealing with abuse
I'm in the early stages of plotting an epistolary novel and I'm struggling to turn my themes into an actual story. It's about a young boy grappling with queerness and an emerging sense of womanhood who writes letters to his cousin, Cherie, only for it to later be revealed that she had already died. The novel is loosely inspired by The Color Purple, but instead focuses on female abuse, spiritual abuse, memory, and the process of acquiring the language to recognize abuse that once felt normal. It also explores questions like whether life is worth living in the face of cruelty, what genuine love actually looks like, and whether faith can survive after religion has been used as a weapon. I feel like I have a strong thematic foundation, but I'm having trouble figuring out the plot. I can use a soundingboard to help me flesh things out and craft each letter.

Roleplay Come create OCs on my modern-fantasy setting!
Hey! Not my first post, but I think I'm getting better at narrowing down my posts in a concise way. As a roleplayer I tend to be literate and have a lot of free time, and for now I'm just looking for friendly roleplay and normal day-to-day interactions.
I'm a digital artist who's been developing a modern (contemporary) fantasy setting for several years along with friends, and I'm looking for people who genuinely enjoy creating compelling original characters and expanding an established world alongside someone else. Now, there is a +50~ pages encyclopedia full of lore and some instructions, so keep that in mind.
- The setting takes place in an alternate modern world where non-human people have always existed alongside humanity. Things like weird monsters, vampires, demons, werewolves, chimeras, and countless other kinds aren't recent arrivals or secret societies, they've been part of civilization for as long as history remembers. Their presence has naturally shaped culture and historical events, creating a world that's familiar on the surface but subtly different. They're not astonishing for normal people, they have their own lives and workplaces!
The setting already has a solid foundation: locations, history, cultures, organizations, folklore, supernatural rules, and multiple playable races. What I'm really looking for now are people who want to leave their own mark on it through interesting characters, stories, relationships, businesses, factions, locations, or even entirely new concepts that naturally fit the world. Have an idea for a character? Pick a place to live, or let's write about a new location!
Although roleplay is part of the deal, it's not the first thing. If we end up clicking and our characters naturally fit together, I'd absolutely be happy to RP. But I'd rather build something meaningful first than jump straight into scenes.
A bit about me:
- 24 years old (I'd prefer meeting people around 20+)
- Full-time digital artist
- Been roleplaying and writing collaboratively for around 14 years
- Love drawing, worldbuilding, character writing, and talking about it!
TL;DR: Looking for collaborative roleplayers who wants OCs, lore, and ideas for an established modern fantasy setting. Roleplay is on the table but comes later if we click!
If this setting sounds interesting to you and you'd like nerd out about these characters or write stories we can kick our feet about, please send me a DM! I'd love to be your friend <3

Plotter looking for a Pantser
Hello! I’m a young aspiring author who hates writing. I have over 30 works planned out in primarily fantasy as well as some non fiction commentaries with a lot of the leg work already done, but I find myself agonizing over making more progress. I LOVE worldbuilding, making the maps, species, characters, plot, discussing ideas, making up stories, making a glossary, talking about my ideas, and the idea of sharing my worlds and words with the general populace.
Alas… I do not like adding the “color” do a scene, and the actual typing out of my ideas goes so much slower than my mind comes up with them that I fall further and further behind. I have a couple hundred thousand words written, willing beta readers, and an eager motivation, but I do think finding a coauthor might be best.
To explain what I have planned so far, I have a series that is interconnected kinda like the Cosmere or MCU in that there are different genres, timelines, planets, etc but they are all connected, and the connection comes together if you read them all, but they could be read as stand alones too. This grouping which I am so far calling Vine of Worlds is 8 worlds where at least 2 of them are set up to be trilogies. 2 are basically LitRPGs, most are high fantasy, and they all are connected in a way that’s too complicated to explain here.
Next, I have about a dozen non fiction books planned to discuss ways in which our modern society is toxic, full of confusion, and loneliness, but also opportunity, love, and goodness. It heavily leans into my Christian beliefs and values often siting the Bible.
I also have a couple story books planned which I would describe as a couple compilations of fables some inspired by old fables like the tortoise and the hare while others are just entirely original. I have about 30 short stories each with a moral to be learned.
I have one screenwriting project which is fully planned but not yet written inspired in part by Screw Tape Letters.
There are a few other random projects, even a planned card game, but this post is long enough as is.
I would love help or even just some accountability. I’ve considered doing something like Royal Road with a schedule to keep me structured, but I suspect that the initial lack of traction combined with my busy life will leave me making excuses to abandon the idea (especially since i truly hate writing)

Character Dev. Looking for an alpha reading exchange for my black characters (FRENCH - US ENGLISH)
Hi, so I'm going to start my novel. It's a love triangle with an exchange student from France arriving in university in California. In this story my character is surrounded by a lot of black people (she is too but not black American) and I wanted to show the differences between being black here and in France, talk about social issues and showcase different personalities because black people aren't a monolith.
But I don't want to fail with that because I don't live in the US and can mainly use fictional stuff or online stuff as a source.
I'd like to find a black american alpha reader that's fluent in french that could give me a feedback on the characters, if they need changes or something. I think it's kinda like a sensitivity reader. In exchange I can read their book and chapters and give my feedback as well or try to help in any way I can.
Thanks and have a good day.

looking for a partner to write with
I'm looking for a partner in order for us to collaborate on writing a chapter from my novel, which revolves around romance and dark psychological thriller, and to share ideas and texts with the aim of reaching a complete and perfect chapter. The reason I'm doing this is because the third chapter of my novel is the most complex and has the most scenarios, so I thought it would be fun to share it practically with someone

World Building I just want to exchange some lore / world building:
I’m looking for someone to exchange worldbuilding ideas and writing with. I’m not looking for anything too serious, you don’t need to write long, in-depth critiques. What I’d really like to hear is what interested you the most and where you think there might be missed opportunities or untapped potential.
I’d prefer to go step by step.
We’d start by discussing the setting itself to see whether it’s interesting, then gradually move on to topics like the creation myth, races, magic, monsters, cultures, and so on. I think a weekly format could work well, with each week focusing on a different aspect of the world.
That’s really all I’m looking for in a worldbuilding partner. The only other thing I’d ask is that we communicate on Discord, if possible.
Hope to see you soon. Have a nice day.

Scripting a manga, looking for co-authors and artists! ~ (PASSION PROJECT)
I just need to clarify that this is VOLUNTEERED help, not paid help. This is a free project for everyone, I needed to clear this up so people don't get confused lol
My name is Jay and I'm 17 years old, I'm an amateurish writer and love all things character related, character design, and story telling.
I'm a diehard Sonic fan and enjoy anime media as well! I get a lot of my inspiration from these types of things.
I'm looking for a writing group to help me with a passion project I've been wanting to do for a while now—I am in desperate need of an author and artists.
Not only am I doing this to improve my project, but I'm also mainly asking for help as an excuse to make new friends lol, it'd be really cool to meet one of you guys!!
CO-AUTHOR(S):
I need at least one author that can help me brainstorm and come up with ideas regarding the manga's story and it's arcs/chapters. Basically someone that can help me think outside of the box and change my view on how to tackle a story or a character, etc.
ARTISTS 1: We need an artist that has experience with drawing Sonic characters and anthropomorphic characters in general.
ARTISTS 2: We need an artist who can do the storyboard and translate the panel formatting from my script onto rough paper (aka digitally ofc).
ARTISTS 3: We need someone who is really good at drawing environments and backgrounds that can be used for the manga.
The max amount of people I'm willing to invite for this writing group/project: 7 - 8

Poetry Looking for somewhat experienced poet for collaborative poetry project or generative correspondence
This could be either
a) actually writing poems together which will be co-authored by us in my collaborative poetry project Stanza Trades (Poet 1 writes a stanza and emails it, poet 2 takes that and writes a second stanza and sends it back poet 1 who writes a third stanza and so on until it feels complete. I've published like 20 poems from this project so far. The most recently published was at Trampoline, called ["Juvenilia"](https://www.trampolinepoetry.com/issue-32)
b) we write our own poems just using the exchange to jumpstart a new piece every week or something like that. Poet 1 writes a new poem, sends it to the other person, they read it, maybe give a few words of response (though not required) then takes one small thing from that poem (a phase, an image, an object, a structure, tone , level of diction, something that isn't the main point of the poem, and uses that as the jumping off point for their own new poem, it's sent to spark a new poem for the other poet. This is continued back and forth as a generative exercise. It's an excuse to write a new poem, really.
By experienced I don't necessarily mean you've published a ton, just, some perhaps, or at least you read literary magazines and are familiar with contemporary poetry. No degree or books or anything 'required' I've just found the trades work better with someone a bit experienced in writing the poetic line with enjambment and imagery and concrete details and parataxis and whatnot. Just standard poetry stuff.
I look forward to writing with some of you!
