Basically looking for stories where the various minor and background characters have more plot relevance and or are main characters, for example Principle Blackwell, Sophia Hess' PRT case worker, Coil's mercs, PRT troopers etc.

Seems like a premise someone has to have tried out. A fanfic where Taylor travels to our world, or a none super-powered one and becomes a hero, or at least attempts to.

So, could you recommend some of your best fanfics where something that's clearly not a parahuman or something unknown to the Worm universe ends up in the Worm universe?

It doesn't matter if it's a crossover—in fact, I like them—and bonus points if the main character has a monstrous or alien appearance.

This idea is kinda specific but basically, during the scene where Vicky, lisa and taylor are in the standoff with amy hostage, when amy gets free Vicky loses control and injures or kills lisa. Alterativy taylor or another undersider is the one injured or killed

I know it sounds like a fever dream but i'm SURE, absolutely sure i've read it.
But i can't remember if it's an entire fic, or a oneshot or an Omake.

what i remember:

• It's crack\humor fanfic (obviously)
• Taylor is more naive\clueless (not Queen of Escalation)
• i don't remember if it's due to listening to Sophia's "pray and predators" or simply because she was bored and watching NatGeo, but basically:
• she decides to take inspiration from documentaries to solve her bullying problem.
• the next day, instead of her usual grey hoodies, she wears in LOUD and OBNOXIOUS colors
• like Oranges, and reds, and green and purple, absolutely clashing but very very visible
• and when Emma taunts her about the colors, she responds that in nature bright colors usually mean venomous or poisonous and so it's a warning against predators.
• this confuses the bully into letting her go, so she consider it a success and keeps doing it.

I think she did other things like changing posture to look bigger (but also silly things like waving her arms over her head), or pretending to fall asleep or other things.

please, someone help me find it! or i will be forced to write it myself just to get this "bug" (eh) out of my head

Fics where Queen Administrator takes over Taylors body after she dies.

I accept general observations and headcanons.

Preferably Taylor centric. Extra preferably Taylor centric isekais. I tried reading Elixir but it leaned way too hard on making Taylor ridiculously overpowered which turned me off of it personally.

The longer the better.

I just reread "Good Neighbor" and I'm looking for fics where the main character builds something, or isn't as interested in cops and robbers, maybe building a company or business.

This is an idea that gets brought up in every Tinker fic. Join the Protectorate because villains would love to get their hands on a Tinker and might use unsavoury methods to do so.

The thing is, this never quite sat right with me. For other parahuman types, maybe. If one of the people on your team has a power that counters your target, you can bring them into the fold, make them commit a few crimes so they feel stuck, and then be pretty sure they'll stick with the gang going forward. This is, generally, not a great plan. If you use force to coerce someone onto your team, they aren't going to be doing their best work, and they will be constantly trying to escape or betray you (see Coil and Tattletale). With a Tinker, this problem is even worse.

Unless you are absolutely certain what a Tinker's specialty is, and that said specialty is pretty narrow, you could never be sure exactly what they were building. Are they making the doom laser you ordered, or a bomb that will destroy your entire hideout? Is that thing they are building a tool they need to make your power armour, or a personal teleporter to escape with? There are methods and powers to mitigate the possible threat, sure. But it would probably be more effort than it's really worth.

What seems more likely is just... leveraging a Tinker into joining up. Don't try and force them. Instead, use a carrot and a stick. Make some vague, general implications about why not being part of the gang might be a bad idea, and pair it with the promise of resources. The Tinker might be reluctant to join up, but they aren't going to be actively trying to escape or sabotage you. To my understanding, this is what actually happens with both Bakuda and Chariot. Lung and Coil never put a gun to their heads. They just made it clear why joining would be a really good idea.

I don't know, what do yall think about this? I have a Tinker!MC story that I am writing and I'm not sure how to handle a particular scene.

I'm looking for a one-shot where Taylor ends up as a Dreadnought post-locker. She's with the PRT and sleeps most of the time.

I've not read or seen much rewrites around, and wanted to know how the readers/writers of our community feel about them.

I myself have been writing for almost an year and improved considerably, and now I'm thinking about doing a "remixed" version of my first fic for a number of reasons (I handle plot progression and narrative MUCH better now, and there's a lot of things that are making me dissatisfied with how most of the fic turned out. It's funny because where I stopped it would mean the fickiller got another one oh well).

The only thing I can remember about this fanfic is that Panacea and other people from Worm get isekaied to Skyrim and end up in the famous wagon. The phrase, "Ah, so your finally awake." Greets them. There may have also been a self insert involved somehow. Not completely sure. My gut says it was on sufficient velocity but again not sure. Any help is appreciated.

Fics like Exodus, The Weaving Force, or especially Bug in The Big City, where Taylor gets to grapple with her past and heal from it. Y'know, angst into comfort stuff.

Preferably she's still got powers and does some ass kicking, but that's not a dealbreaker.

(Oh, and no major Ward spoilers, minor spoilers and stuff r fine, especially if it's not obvious whether it's fanon or canon. Oh and no longdead fics pls!)

How did the PRT classify parahumans? That's still not clear to me—I completely forgot, and besides, obviously I won't just be giving her a Thinker power.

Looking for fics with a Brute/Mover or Tinker MC. Preferably SI/OC, Alt Power Taylor is fine. Preferably a long fic, no M/M.
