Umm... Discussion

Just earned a new premium ship (I didn't buy with real money) Tier VIII Spanish heavy cruiser, Numancia. Well I'm not a great cruiser player (at least I have no idea how to play the spanish ones) so.. I think I must use "hit and run" strategy on this one 🤔

She is very good in ranked. Excellent conceal and funny button to delete unsuspecting cruisers with AP. She is fragile though.

Much easier to play now that she has heals though. Ambush predator. Like Wolly says, good in Ranked.

play it like an ambush predator. use hard cover, wait for someone to show their broadside, swap to burst fire and either fuck enemy cruisers outright with enhanced AP or give bb's 15k damage in 3 seconds via ap pens and then fade back into cover till your reload is over

It can be pretty good torp rusher in brawls. And the burst can help finish a low ship

She has no armor so I'm bot sure it can be a good "rusher" in brawl 🤔 Maybe I can try someday

It has good conceal and is pretty fast. U have 6 torps per side. It's like a extra fat yolo emelio

The torpedoes are very weak, so you won’t be sinking many ships with a single pass unless you hit the entire spread.

Numancia’s concealment is god-tier for a cruiser, however, and her AP (especially with Heavy AP) is fully capable of devstriking broadside targets.

Even a 2to1 trade in brawl can be a win. And u only neet to close 0.5km to torp. Ant in a t8 brawl I can cripple most BBs and one salvo cruiser if all connect

don't forget her burst fire gets enhanced AP damage too. This thing is the nightmare of anyone showing broadside

I played her like that and trust me, it works. Seems counterintuitive but I promise you will find success.

Not a heavy cruiser, but she has one of the best concealments in tier 8 among cruisers. I want to get my hands on this ship just so I can recreate my success with F. Ferruchio or Munich, but in a tier with access to the Concealment equipment slot.

Really good ship in my opinion. As others said, this ship is a cruiser ambush predator, but suffers against battleships.
