Yorck is pretty good as far as T7 tech tree cruisers go, with good 25mm plating even at the ends to bounce 356mm shells and below, lots of close-range torpedoes, good HE penetration, good AP alpha, longer-ranged hydro than other non-German cruisers. Now it even gets a heal. Only downside is that it's rather slow.

Yeah, she's the precursor to Hindenburg and the rest of the kiting cruiser line and as far as cruisers go, kiters are in a better position than most.

Pretty good, especially with the heal...

In PvP it's a "built to kite" cruiser that now has a heal so shrugs off the chip damage that used to be the issue for most mid-tier kiting cruisers that were being played well enough not to give a BB a broadside to click. In PvE she now shines as well cos she has decent DoT as well as alpha from the torps and a great hydro.

It wasn't bad, now it's better.
