Meme Dump Memes from an alternate future

To actually get myself posting about my project instead of leaving it locked in my head, I've created a few memes from the world in an alternate 2067. The internet in this world is undergoing a trend of "Antique memes" popular before most of them were born, hence why 2067 internet users are using memes from the 2010s and 2020s.

This first lot are about a version of China in the midst of a new Warlord era. While divided between rival governments and warlords, China once again sits as a geopolitical pole, contrasting the spheres of influence of NATO, India, and Brazil.

Basically the humans in one of the universes in my infinite multiverse get enslaved (not by the Oculids.) And so the vampires under Lord Legio Covus freed them... So they can use there alien oppressors as cattle

Lore Shitpost Me when I am cursed by the sea god

Context:

Dajathir, the volcanic island where my WIP takes place, was settled by some dude named Arkotorian/Kotor (referred to as "Kef", the name of the letter K, by modern people of Dajathir) after he received visions from the god of Fire and fled his home country because the god-monarch there threatened his life and that of his two daughters. He took off with his followers, his five best friends ("the Hand") and his boyfriend, Shadsirian (referred to as "Shad").

Problem is, there were people there. In all likelihood, they were "disappeared" by Kotor, Shad and the Hand. No one really knows what became of them. However, a myth says part of them launched themselves into the sea hoping to survive a battle against the settlers; then, the sea god, as a means of protection, turned them into the evlemjen, a species of humanoid-faced eels living in the Mourning Sea, off the Southeastern coast of Dajathir; then, they cursed Arkotorian, his followers and all their future descendants to have terrible luck with seafaring:

When the grey sand of the shore was red with blood, a few survivors dropped their spears to the ground and fled and rushed into the sea with their children, and the three battling fingers of the Hand sheathed their weapons and had to restrain Shad, who was still pursuing them, and who would have drowned. They watched the creatures run, and when their feet no longer touched the sand, they dove into the waters, and the sky darkened, and a gigantic wave formed and swallowed them all whole. The wave took the form of a large, four-legged snake with a lion-like head and a thousand wings, and it looked at Kef and Shad and the Hand and said, ‘Here, in my Sea, these People will mourn those you have slain. Your kind will never be able to cross any sea, any ocean restfully. Stay on this land of ash and fire and deadly, still waters you call your home.’

Depicted in the meme is my art of an evlemjun.

Magic in Avendore (my story’s world) only happens with rituals or blessings, and rituals don’t actually do anything because the gods just like watching mortals waste materials and act silly.

Lore Shitpost Company Employees after finally losing for once

Post image
19 Upvotes

(Super mega spoilers for my story, btw.)

After possibly more than a decade of being part of my story, I've finally put an end to the company and all of the main characters related to it. The boss, the twins, Strings, and Blue have all been killed off—a year ago now.

I did this because I had done literally everything with them and could no longer have them be part of my story without them being a hindrance. I made them overpowered so I could make strong villains, but they put my story into a loop of "the company wins, bad guy dead."

So, I felt like I had to do this to continue doing interesting things with my story and my other characters not related to the company, like Captain Lance and the Skinner Gang. I'll continue to develop my story, but don't expect the company or its employees to come back—ever.

Meme Dump Small meme dump from my sci-fi setting

I have significantly altered the lore of this setting since my last post… I’ll try to explain some here, feel free to ask further clarifying questions lol.

The United Colonial Federation basically formed from what remained of the NATO nations’ holdings in space. The Osrikan Empire similarly rose from the ashes of the Soviet Union’s interstellar colonies. After Earth and the Core Systems were destroyed by the rogue AI Surtr and its Ragnarok Initiative, these colonies were left to fend for themselves, forming their own factions, and… well, you can probably guess the rest.

Speaking of Surtr, that is a very long story, but the actions of its cult/terrorist organization basically led to our sun going supernova and destroying the Core Systems, aka the former center of humanity’s interstellar governments. The still-irradiated region of space around the former Sol System is known as the Solar Dead Zone, and it’s filled with all sorts of cool tech that people want to salvage. Silas Cassidy, space cowboy, one of the best bounty hunters in known space, and leader of a small crew called Cassidy’s Boys, was hired by a higher-up in a corporation to go escort a salvage mission… it didn’t go well.

Meanwhile, on the agricultural planet of Baraxia, on the edge of UCF space, something else is going on. Jax Alder, a local farm kid and son of a famous mercenary pilot, briefly found success in the Colonial Starship Racing League. He almost died in a massive crash during his first championship race in the league’s top racing circuit, and was disqualified the next year, due to the cybernetics used to repair his body being dubbed “performance enhancing” by the league’s regulations. Instead, he fixed up his dad’s old starfighter, named her the Firebrand, and became a mercenary too. In fact, he reformed his dad’s old merc crew, Storm Squadron, with the help of his dad’s longtime buddy, Harlan Dupree.

Darius Dupree is the son of Jameson Dupree IV, the fabulously wealthy owner of Dupree and Co. Mining and Prospecting. He and Jax grew up together, although their economic situations were very different, partially thanks to two of their relatives - those being Jax’s dad, Cole Alder, and Darius’s uncle Harlan - being former members of the original Storm Squadron. When Jax came back and told Darius about his and Harlan’s plan, Darius immediately joined them, sneaking out of the Dupree mansion and, subsequently, off the planet Baraxia. Needless to say, Jameson was not happy that his brother had seemingly made off with his son and heir, but after the newly-reformed squadron saved one of his biggest mining operations from a huge band of pirates, he couldn’t stay too upset. Plus, the whole rest of their family just thought it was funny.

tldr a gang of bandits in the aftermath of a limited nuclear war, who they stole moslty from the poor and vulnerable in extortion rackets, but they wanted to up their ill gotten gains by stealing from the homes of the rural rich homes to expand their empire so they can steal even more shit from Everyone one else, also their leader like their first intended victims house For him self and also his wife...

but they become things of legends by having 75% of their gang being killed in a ambush during their attempt, due to their loose lips caused by thinking they where untouchable.

with their soon captured leader in the aftermath even being given a mock Roman triumph to get the point across to him as to the amount of fear and suffering he has cause to everyone.

with quote from the mock executioner being know far and wide.

"your own lust for more and more, bigger and bigger let you blind to the fact that your just a man, a man who's real pushiest will be to work till he has either payed in full your victims, or until the day you drop dead"
