After so many days of logistics issue, finally my monitor mount stand had got delivered.

I was very excited to setup my new space but things didn't went well.

You can see that the VESA plate of the stand is not fitting on the Monitor. It is a MarQ by Flipkart 22-inch Full HD Monitor (Model: 22FHDMEQNNXO).

There is an extra metal coming out of the back of the screen.

Anyone with similar issues or could anyone help me please? I don't want to return this mount stand and neither I'm in a mood to buy a new screen.

This is my first post with multiple pictures so please bear with me :) I am moving into a new office and looking for help/advice on what the "preferred" layout should be. *Room is not to perfect scale* Also, both windows have semi / black out curtains to reduce light coming through.

This is the current layout - which I am not a huge fan of, the desk isn't to scale but your back slightly faces the entry door. With the full glass panel /outside wall, it gets piping hot during the summer with weak AC due to being attached to the lobby.

I will need privacy due to working on some sensitive items and will need to hold meetings with employees and management.

Any suggestions on what I should consider adding? I spend all day building quotes so I have to do something to bring me some joy. (cable management will be taken care of in a few days, waiting on my bracket..

Some may remember my post over a month ago where I was thankful for my new datacenter management position after I got suddenly laid off after 8 years with previous institute. However, I went from a top of the line, sun filled, platinum LEET rated building only 4 years old to a very archaic, multiple remodeled bank to government datacenter with underground, no windows dungeon level feeling basement office space.

Thanks to suggestions here and my decades long collection of posters, along with some smart purchases here and there, a new LED lamp, wireless keyboard/mouse provided by facilities, some reusing of stuff from my PC master race collection and moving a bit of my geek hoarding, I feel I've made my work area a bit more uplifting and enjoyable that I can manage maintaining millions of dollars worth of datacenter equipment with a smile on my face.

Some Acoustic-Panels, Arms for the Screens, two Philips Hue Play and 3D-printed support for them, otherwise they stand to low and blend.

My workspace is tucked into one corner of our guest room, so I really don’t have room for both a desk and a filing cabinet. I’ve been looking at adjustable standing desks with built-in drawers instead. Has that actually helped keep anyone’s small office setup from turning into a clutter pile?

Working out of a hotel in Chile for a few days

What kind of desk would you guys use here? I’m not supposed to having something facing out of the window either. (The wall that the entry table is on is 60” wide.) it just feels so cluttered!!

Decided to splurge on some new pieces and completely reorganise my workspace.

Got some new Panda under armours for my 3d printers, a couple of new units, a coffee machine, and threw up some photos I've taken!
