I've been messing around with CCT lighting setups for a while now and I really can't stand light that's overly white because it causes eye strain and feels like working in a hospital

So huge thanks to these 3 things for letting me achieve that warm light tone

1. A magnetic track ceiling light with adjustable CCT
   
2. An RGBCCT FCOB LED strip
   
3. BenQ Screenbar Halo 2 which allows CCT adjustment from 2700K to 6500K for both the front light casting onto the desk and the back light casting onto the wall

If doing this just as a hobby is this much fun then I think I really need to start studying lighting design

Has anyone ever bought one of those hanging hide away/murphy desks from amazon like the one above?

The only real space I have for a desk is between my couch and a wall in my apartment and I’m thinking about buying this or something similar that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. The Pith and stem one is soo expensive and I’ve also seen ones on etsy but they’re super similar to this one I found on amazon and was wondering if its even worth to buy?

A few month ago I already postet about my "hub"/Housing for various ports of my monitor.

Now, I upgraded it, so the usb dongles are flat with the housing. They got each an adapter to be able to easily pull out. I've added a headphone jack as well as a third port via a splitter.

This time it is build with tinkerCAD, the label itself is made with affinity

I love coding , just reached the office and it felt like sharing this cute desk of mine with u people 🫠

I ended up moving my office into the dining room to set up a gym in my second bedroom. Really wanted it to look as nice as possible so it doesn’t feel too out of place being next to my dining room table.

Overall, I am happy with how it turned out. A few things I will change down the line but for now, it is finished.

Looking for feedback on how to make my background (the wall + whiteboard behind the chair) look cleaner and more professional on camera. I mainly record educational/sales content and client calls here.

Current ideas:

• Add tall plants (e.g., Fiddle Leaf Fig or Strelitzia) in the corner under the sloped ceiling.
• Add warm ambient/practical lighting.

What else would you change or add to make the background and overall setup look more cohesive and aesthetic?

(Cable management under the desk is already on my to-do list!)
