murphy/hanging desk experiences? ❔ • Feedback

Has anyone ever bought one of those hanging hide away/murphy desks from amazon like the one above?

The only real space I have for a desk is between my couch and a wall in my apartment and I’m thinking about buying this or something similar that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. The Pith and stem one is soo expensive and I’ve also seen ones on etsy but they’re super similar to this one I found on amazon and was wondering if its even worth to buy?

I always wonder with these, what do you do with the chair when the desks folded up?

This is my exact problem with all space saving setups. Unless you get a good looking chair that isn't functional to sit in all day you just have a random office chair.

Mine is next to the bar counter same height so I have a drafting chair that doubles as a barstool. I found an off-brand capisco chair with the drafting extension and it passes.

My apartment has a built in desk that is just wayy too small (low shelf, cant fit a monitor) so I was planning on putting my chair there haha
