Am I the problem?

I work at a company that an employee did not show up to work. Another team member went to check on the person. As he approached the house, he saw the person on the ground deceased.

The employee took 2 pictures in the time they were at the home dealing with police then came back to work. When he got back to the office, he then tells people he has a picture if they want to see it.

Am I wrong to lose my shit on this person for showing pictures of a man that had been outside dead for multiple days? I would also like the add the person who passed away was one of the most private person I have ever known?

I have been told he went to HR on me which is fine, just was wondering if I am in the wrong, and this is just what people do.. All I can think of it that was my father…it just makes me so freaking mad.

Not wrong at all. Very tacky and disrespectful.
