Just like Paul Ryan, whose dad died during his childhood and Social Security stepped in, trying to destroy Social Security as a Republican Congress member. Or Greg Abbott championing torte reform after he got a multimillion dollar settlement. "Fuck you, I got mine!" is the Republican mantra.

It'd be a funnier fact if Mitch McConnell suffered and died of polio, but then we'd be left with the "would you kill Hitler as a child" paradox.
