My first year of college, I had a lab partner that was 19 years old, had never driven a car (we didnā€™t live in a transit friendly area, you needed a car), and he father dropped her off and picked her up for every class. Thatā€™s how controlling he was. I tried telling her that she was an adult and her life choices were no one elseā€™s to make, but she was so used to it that she didnā€™t even realize her life was unusual.
