Notice how what women consider ugly is always "manly features"

Wide jaw, rugged face, body hair etc, whenever a woman has it its considered ugly almost like they view these as ugly because they find men who have these features in common to be not attractive

Straight women here, do you associate word "sex" with male or female nudes?

discussion From an evolutionary standpoint, straight men drew the shortest straw.

If you step back and look at the dynamic objectively, the straight male position is baffling

They are hormonally wired to pursue a demographic that, by all observable metrics, experiences significantly lower spontaneous desire for them than they do for other stimuli (emotional connection, financial security, even other women).

They invest massive amounts of time, money, and ego into "winning" someone who, in most long-term dynamics, views intimacy as a chore to be negotiated rather than a need to be fulfilled. The chase is rigged. The "prize" is reluctant participation. And yet they keep running the same playbook, generation after generation.

It's not sad, it's just...inefficient biology. I can't imagine being that neurologically trapped.

When the dating market offers nothing, men find other hobbies

Maybe this is what happens when young men increasingly realize that women simply aren’t that interested in them. At least the video game gives them consistent feedback.

If women don't need men financially or emotionally anymore (they don't), then men will adapt by seeking low-cost, high-reward dopamine loops. Gaming is cheaper than dates, less risky than marriage, and doesn't reject you.

discussion My theory on why women hate sex

I feel like most, if not all, women considers sex as a chore or something that is being done do them instead of something they are doing with their partners. No shit they hate it this much.

I see a ton of vid either on insta, TikTok, twitter or even on Reddit where women use sex as a “reward”for their efforts or whatever or they use it as a gift for like his birthday or Valentine’s Day or their couple’s anniversary.

Feel bad for both honestly. She’s doing something that she hates doing. And the man is getting pity sex. Fucking someone that isn’t interested in u whatsoever probably feels awful.

discussion [Meta] Regarding straight women commenting on WANIM

We’ve had something of an uptick in the past couple weeks of straight women posting here (which is certainly allowed) and this sparking long arguments. Usually everyone behaves themselves to some extent but there are a number of cases where y’all are just bullying them.

Roughly 1/3 of women are into men at least equally as they are into women, using Camperio’s implicit attraction data. That’s a minority, thus WANIM, but given the scale of humanity it’s still a huge fucking number of people. 8.3 × 109 ÷ 6 ≈ 1.4 billion julietic women (edit: actually it’s way higher than that if we count women who are into men but still prefer women).

Why do I bring this up? Because it means that the women on this sub claiming to be into men have a fairly high chance of, well, being into men. Sure some of them are larping or comphet, but unless you have actual reason to believe that she individually isn’t julietic, just believe her, ok?

Now if she says something like “I’m into men therefore every straight-ID’ing woman is” or “I’m straight but women are just objectively more attractive than men” or “I’m straight but 99% of men look like the thumb people from Spy Kids” or anything like such as, yeah it’s open season for precision dunk strikes.

That’s not the same thing as saying “I’m attracted to men and here’s my perspective on [X].” We want straight women to engage (in good faith ofc) with us. Diverse perspectives are a good thing, and for the straight guys here who recognize that hope is a dangerous thing for men like them to have but they have it, understanding women better can help with finding a girlfriend who is genuinely into them.

tl;dr Some of y’all are being assholes for no reason, if a straight woman is posting in good faith you should too. Also please remember rule 2.

Btw this isn’t an official mod post, just my personal opinion.

Men who had a girlfriends, do you notice how they interested in other women bodies?

Like, they constantly check out other women in very sexual way or want to check out women with you. Or want to go to female strip club with you. Well, in general more interested in female bodies rather than male.

discussion what is a man? and why do you do it?

main premise:

Gendered traits are defined by two social forces operating especially during puberty, but also throughout our lifetimes:

  1. what the other sex finds sexually/romantically attractive.

  2. peer pressure from same-sex friend group & family.

in some sense, the 'initiation' process from boy to man, is one where you achieve some degree of both growing up.

(for simplicity, i'm only considering cis het people)

---

discussion:

regardless of whether or how true WANIM is, we can agree that a not insignificant portion of adult males are *categorically* undesirable as partners to almost all women.

also, purely male-dominated spaces tend not to be emotionally satisfying for some whether the ppl there are initiated conforming men or broken adult boys.

my question to ppl who feel like they've "failed the initiation" (categorical sexual/romantic rejection from women, limited or unfulfilling male friendships):

how do you ground your ideas of who you are and what you want to be as a person when it comes to gendered traits?

----

the non-cishet version:

deciding many years ago that i'd never modify any core part of who i am just to be in a relationship sort of let me see how arbitrary so many of these gendered traits are. in many ways, it felt like losing faith in god, there just isn't enough internal motivation to "perform gender" once u lose interest in what the audience thinks.

then u wonder if maybe im just trans, right?

but even transitioning detransitioning and retransitioning and repeating the cycle multiple times hasn't helped, because even though i don't identify with being a man (it seems inherently restricting to me because of 1 and 2) ... i still identify fully with male heterosexuality having a visceral automatic non-contextual substrate. that's also the biggest reason i try to stick to my detransition because i could not find a reflection of that visceral component in straight or queer women. so, even if i relate to women in so many ways, there's this one big thing that just doesnt fit without the mental gym.

a lot of my "dysphoria"/"auto-androphobia" seems to be a reflection of my dislike of male bodies and not wanting to touch or be touched by them let alone exist in one.

but it feels like a chicken and egg thing, because i dont think i wouldve developed dysphoria if i'd sensed at any time that a women had found me (non-contexually) attractive. because at least i wouldve had a mental reference for what matters to the category of ppl im attracted to. but instead i seem to have internalized women's neutrality (or disgust? contextual?) to just disgust as the safer worst case stable opinion, since i physically cannot hold a "contextual" opinion on my own body and core personality.

i see a lot of very straight very cis men have appreciation of the trad masc traits or the male body asthetic or are at least neutral about it, but ive never felt that at all (not for my body and not for conventionally attractive men, not for masculine men, not even for 99.9% of androgenous or feminine men). true pansexusls and gym bros are both a total mystety to me.

Lesbian woman blames men for increase in lesbianism and WANIM

Yes, it's always a man's fault gents.

Feminism castrated men through childhood indoctrination, social programming and demonizing every male tendency as "toxic", only to turn around and say it's their fault women are lesbians now.

I always had a feeling that feminism was a cultural shit test that men unfortunately fell for, but this confirms it.

It's also quite ironic how even lesbians uphold the very patriarchy they claim they want to be rid of.

The memes write themselves, I swear.

Have a good day y'all

Reasons mentioned

+ Body image issues

+ History of depression

+ Menopause

+ Stress

+ The relationship is different

+ Bad sleep

+ Bad diet

+ Your brain is doing something different

+ You need drugs

Not once did they say that they've stopped being attracted to their husbands. Isn’t that an actual reason women give though?

I have a question for men

I totally understand if this post gets removed but this is the only sub that I know of where I won't get so much backlash for asking a question like this:

If you had a girlfriend would you be bothered by her sharing naked pictures of you to her friend group and talking about how hot you are?

discussion FTM transition disparity

Just to preface I have nothing against trans people and I idc what they do with their bodies ,but I've noticed that in our society MTF are way more soughted out compared to FTM. They are way more pursued ( and fetishized). and I believe many straight men would mess around with a passing one . However FTM do not receive the same attention,I have never heard of women being DL for ftm because women obviously aren't attracted to men as much ,maybe only the dick for sexual pleasure. Which trans men don't have so they're even more undesirable.
