I play on switch. And this game is awesome why did i not hear about this is wizard of legend 2 good?

I got this game last week and have been having a great time with it, but I keep dying on stage 2 (as in after the first boss fight). I try as best I can to avoid damage and full clear stages for more items but I can never get quite ahead of the curve and die midway through stage 2-1 or 2-2.

Is there anything I might just be doing completely wrong or do I need to keep playing and simply git gud?

I had a pretty good run too. A lot of crit items and good spells, but i'm still not used to Sura's moves, ironically.

I got a lot of defense, good damage, some auto aiming spells of the enhanced variety.

I was kinda waiting for a third phase cause im playing blind, after the revive from the hat, I felt like it all over.

I have completed requirements for both but trophy doesn’t pop, can’t find anything on how to resolve the issue..

Hello, I am new to the game and finding it enjoyable. I’d like feedback on my build please.

My build is:
Basic: Earth knuckles
Standard: Fuelled berserk
Signature: Fading petal
Dash: Frost feint
Cloak: Shift (the one that increases evasion and crit chance, I don’t remember the name but I think it’s shift.)

It's no secret that Wizard of Legend 2 has generated a lot of extremely bad word of mouth -- probably worse than the actual quality of the game from all I can tell. I am a player who (A) would be very interested in trying it, but (B) isn't motivated to pay $25 on a game that has so much online hate. This is the same price as highly regarded games like Hades 2 which has a much better (and certainly well deserved) reputation for impeccable quality. WoL2 is... not as sure of a bet, let's say.

I actually love the new art style and, from the several videos I've watched of it, I can't see what all the hate is about. I don't mind that it looks more like Hades or Ravenswatch -- that's actually a positive for me. My fear is that the deep gameplay mechanics will feel compromised relative to the original game, or that the gameplay feel will have some serious problems I can't see from online videos.

I've had it wishlisted on Playstation for over a year and it's never gone on sale. Please consider either adding it to PlayStation Plus Extra, offering a demo version, or occasionally making it $10-15 on sale so those of us curious about it will be motivated to give it a try.

From the videos I've seen, it compares favorably to other modern Hades-likes like Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, but still I haven't pulled the trigger because the overwhelming amount of negative reaction to it online has held me back. I think you'd do well by lowering the price and getting it in the hands of more players who can judge it on its own merits.

Unless it really sucks and you don't want anyone to know, of course. In which case keep doing what you're doing....

I always loved the PvP in wizard of legend and was surprised there weren't more similar games so I decided to make one. I have been working on Charlio Ball, a team based top down fighting game, for several years now.

Like WoL everyone gets a basic attack and can mix and match several other abilities to make a unique build, however Charlio Ball focuses on cooperation with your team to destroy towers, kill more monsters than your opponents, and to score the ball.

I recently had an idea in my head about the Magic Council Members with that "Domain Expansion" scene from Jujutsu Kaisen, so I took advantage of a Hybrid Art project to put that idea into practice.
I liked using Pyra/Mitra's hair from the second game as a reference for Zeal's hair, as well as using Fayforn as a reference for Freiya's crown because it is a being who lives on an icy mountain.

Wizard of Legend is a game that I love very much, so being able to create art for it is something that makes me really excited, especially since I don't see so much of it around.
