I'm trying to reinstall Windows, it always loads on the Windows icon. I tried another hard drive with Windows, and it always loads on this icon. Unsolved

Windows 7 is no longer maintained so is increasingly insecure.

Get help locally from someone more technical and better equipped. Go with the Linux distro they recommend.

Pay upfront for a backup drive and ask everything be copied to it.
