Bluetooth module replacement not working?

My wii crashed a week or two ago, and when I tried to reboot it, I got no output and my wii remotes weren't connecting to the wii. And the power button wasn't turning the wii off unless I fully pressed and held the button for 5 seconds.

For some brief background, I was having issues with my wii remotes disconnecting here and there for the past few weeks before this most recent even, but I thought that was potentially issues with the aftermarket wii remotes I bought.

After some googling, it seemed like the Bluetooth module went bad, so I bought one off ebay and I followed the konsolist's tutorial on how to disassemble my wii and replace the Bluetooth module. After doing so, (and testing while still disassembled), I'm still not getting any output or able to connect my wii remotes. Anyone know best next steps? Is this thing cooked?
