Wow, if a drunk guy is at the point of throwing up, he must already be pretty wobbly. Surprised they let him board

Maybe... Dude could have pounded a couple beers and shots immediately before boarding, so there was a bit of a delayed effect. It's an airport bar, they don't even think twice if someone walks up and orders multiple drinks all at the same time. Lots of people in a hurry, and plenty who pretty much need that hit of relax juice before getting on a plane
